  1. Well I don't know about me extending it, but possibly.
  2. When you can't think of anything to write, you're stuck. Do you mean, they could get sequels in the future either by me, or fanfiction? I dunno.
  3. Well, for me, I find it fun (When I don't have writers block anyway) to create a fictional world like the ones I'm making, and depending on what scene I'm working on, the words just pour out. Also, Infinitum is a planned stand-alone, and TCBW is going to hopefully be a trilogy.
  4. When I was at my prime on TCBW, I was writing hundreds, usually thousands of words a day, and thousands a week, I ended up writing over 30k words and 5 1/2 chapters in a little over a month, but I spent a few hours a day on it at least, same for Infinitum.
  5. TCBW since September I think, but progress was crapped on when my laptop broke last November (I borrowing one right now), and I started Infinitum a few days ago.
  6. TCBW Is probably going to be 85/100k words, Infinitum is going to be 140/200k words, although that could change.
  7. So far, I've finished 33.3k words on TCBW, and 4.1k for Infinitum, as I've only started a few days ago.
  8. I'm using (Free version) Grammarly to help make my writing more grammatically correct, what are your experiences with it if you've used it? Is it a decent program?

And if you've used the paid version, what are advanced issues anyway? Should I pay attention to them?

I've used it, for school. I wasn't too impressed by it, and I wouldn't get the paid version. I can remember distinctly an argument in a group project about who was right; me or Grammarly. The other student insisted that she was correct because "Grammarly agrees with me!" Turns out that she was wrong, and Grammarly was, too.

You'd do better to learn the grammatical rules yourself. Not in, say, English class, but by going out and reading a well-written book in a subject you enjoy. For me, it was history, but it can really be anything.

To sum up: Grammarly's OK, but it's nothing to write home about. You can get the same thing by finishing papers early and asking teachers to proof them.

Is it good for generally fixing some grammar mistakes?

I guess so, yes. But I still think it's a good idea to learn the grammar rules concurrently. You don't want to become too dependent on technology. Also, sometimes you have to break the grammar rules for effect. Knowing what they are, and how you're breaking them, will help you.

  9. The Children between worlds: A primitive medieval civilization, an early space faring civilization, two Moons, two civilizations, what would happen if they made contact? Infinitum: Over 300 years from now, the crew of the Infinitum travels through a Wormhole to create a new life for themselves but find themselves in the middle of an Interstellar conflict between three powerful Alien civilizations trying to lead a galactic alliance in the Large Magellanic Cloud.
  10. When you watch a science fiction movie and think; I can make that SO much better!
  11. Please read: Just so we're clear, I'm going to make this as accurate as possible. But come on, it's an alien civilization in the LMC, there's going to be inaccuracies. I'm still writing TCBW, don't worry. And please keep in mind this is the first draft, a lot will be rewritten in the published version if I can get it published. So here goes; Over 300 years from now, the crew of the Infinitum travels through a Wormhole to create a new life for themselves but find themselves in the middle of an Interstellar conflict between three powerful Alien civilizations trying to lead a galactic alliance in the Large Magellanic Cloud. So... Tell me what you guys think below, btw, this isn't going to be just a bunch of logs, but there will be some from time to time Chapter 1 (Will be integrated into a chapter in the middle of the book in the second draft)
  12. Science fiction, it's in my sig. And I'm planning on it
  13. The first and last men on the Apollo Moon missions have now died. Rest in peace, may your soul traverse the endless universe.
  14. I JUST GOT THE FIRST 3 BOOKS IN THE EXPANSE.

Finished the third book, and I got the fourth earlier today :D

I don't know when I'll be able to get the other 2 though.

  15. It's already on, and it's pretty good. Btw, have you heard the theme? I suppose you haven't but it's excellent.
  16. Here's the basic plot of Infinitum; subject to change slightly as it's developed.

Almost 300 years from now, the crew of the Infinitum travels through a Wormhole to create a new life for themselves but find themselves in the middle of an Interstellar conflict between three powerful Alien civilizations trying to lead a galactic alliance in the Large Magellanic Cloud.

It's still an early WIP, but would any of you guys like to see it? I can put a preview here, and if you guys like it, I'll make a thread for it.

Also, it'll likely be ridiculously long, I'm planning for it to be at least 130k words, although I may push 200k  (And yes, I know, a 70k word difference is big, I'm fully aware of that :))

Over 1.1k words on the 3rd chapter, and 7.2k~ total. :)

Hopefully I can post the 3rd chapter up before February, we'll see.

Just how the weather was to me. I believe there is climate change, it's just not as bad and not what everyone expects it to be.
