  1. Sadly it will be put up against anything else in the same category, so since only it's name will be shown, not many people will notice, I just don't think people would click on the "losers" score. I'll put it in the next time I have to modify the OP, or if someone makes a time that beats one of the current times, thanks for the submission!
  2. Did you want me to post that time, or just wait until you have designed something that will beat one of the ones listed? I know you are fully capable of making something great
  3. I've also done similar things, if you'd like you can visit my KerbalX page to see and download a few of them, I'll link some that work in KSP 1.0+ https://kerbalx.com/He_162/Su-50 This is my ejection seat in action: (My thirteenth iteration ejection seat I believe)
  4. Pretty much just keep doing laps, but avoid them at all possible times.
  5. 1 to 3 fps, and it costs 25 million kerbucks. That being said, I've modified it into a SSTO, and I'm working on a method of keeping it stable on the launchpad for launch. I'll keep you updated, but it's 1550 parts so far.
  6. Weight: 58,922.1 tons Stage t/w: 1 (bottom): 1.21 2 (second): 1.41 3 (top layer engines): 1.62
  7. Work on another heavy launch vehicle is almost complete, this time it will be 10kT to orbit.
  8. I'm working on a 10,000 ton to orbit launcher right now actually Just fixing some final structural issues with the bottom stages (drop tanks)
  9. You quoted me, not him, but I think he'll see it.
  10. Wonderful craft! I'll add them as soon as possible, but I need the video, not that I don't believe you!
  11. KERBIN: MUN: MINMUS: I will be replying to this every time I have uploaded 3 more videos, or so, and when it is done. (for those wondering what the random times you can see the GUI are there for in the minmus video, that's just bad video editing, I'll fix it in the project and reupload that specific video with the next set of videos, I do these every other weekend or so.)
  12. I've added you into the laptimes, I'll be working from the 7th page backwards to add all of the submissions given into respective categories, and I may even bump them to the next category up if they made the car before the new rules, or other such issues, but only if they don't have a dominating lap time that is unbeatable or something. I got you in, just need to save it. I need a KerbalX link for the car for the time to be posted on the OP Let me know when you are done, I like the idea, but the body will need more of a "wing" design to be submitted, but it looks great dude! That's all the times I have time to submit, thanks for the entries guys, I'll work on my Helium racer this weekend to get a good time.
  13. I'll allow it if it has no mods, colored parts, and follows the rules strictly, while adding some of your own aesthetic to the design, I don't want everyone making a series of F1 cars and calling it good. I prefer pictures over videos with cut out frames, and other such things, Thanks for the entry, I'll submit it when I have time!
  14. Congratulations! I have had this problem, I have experienced it very rarely though.
  15. The top speed of all electrically powered cars is the same essentially, due to the motor limit, making all electric cars capable of the same lap time, so there is no point. I'll put the time up, congrats, you'll be in the "anything goes" category. It's not, this thread was started due to a rivalry between car replicator's in KerbalX, and as such, I started a forum thread for anyone else who want's in on it. The rules for my challenge are also much more specific. I'll allow painted paint if I can have a second person verify the car can make that lap time (or within 1 - 2 seconds) after downloading the car and confirming there are no ulterior winning factors. (mods) Wheel rules were changed, and you don't need 8 wheels to drift. You're starting to get on my nerves a little, watch yourself, you could have spent that whole time just making a quick body with wheels to determine if it's possible to drift, and yet you continue to argue and claim AZIMECH of all people is lying to you. Oh, and the other wheel type is allowed. I'm gonna have to ask you to stop being so negative about my challenge, you know very well what it's about, and why it's here. You impose a looming darkness over it like it is something you hate with your very soul. If the goal is to get my challenge off topic, or to derail my thread, then instead of making yourself look bad, call a moderator and have him look it over, and have him determine if it is "too similar" to yours. No. It really doesn't. Wonderful! For those wondering how I will be judging your cars, here is how they were judged, and how they always will be judged: -Does it follow the rules for the normal rules? Yes/No? -If no, then does it follow the rules for "anything goes?" Yes/No? -If no, then does it follow the rules for "Anything and Everything?" Yes/No? -If no, it is not admitted. STRICTLY ENFORCED. If you have a vehicle that does not fit the rules, you will not have a entry. I will not deal with the following: Trolls Thread derailers Complainers Accusers If you have an issue with how I judged the craft you submitted, please send me a private message as to prevent from derailing my thread, and if we cannot resolve the issue, then the craft will not be submitted, or even downloaded for review.
  16. Fuel consumption above 1 is bad for a car that has to go any distance, but the thing is that those Juno's need a lot of air intake to run at full thrust, and that's part of what I meant by fuel.
  17. I was tempted to remove them completely, until I realized the 0.625m one really can't do much, and putting one on is practically pointless, so I allowed it to see how creative people can get. One of the central ideas to the challenge was to use the Juno to go fast, by putting 20 in there, you deal with excessive weight, and fuel consumption, making it challenging to use, the panther would not be, hence it not being admitted.
  18. I'm changing the rules to allow up to 6 of those two wheel types (RoveMax, and TR-2L) into the main category, and more rules for SAS abuse. Have a go at it now, I didn't even bother making cars until I had mastered it. (By mastered, I mean made them look semi-realistic, or useful, let alone fast.) The new rules, I'll start putting craft in the time if I can get a video, or screenshots of the craft. Rules: -No F12 menu. -Only stock game parts. -Only the TR-2L, or RoveMax M1 can be used as a wheel (6 per craft, 4 if using the TR-2L). -The track must be followed, no short cuts. -A screenshot on every corner if possible, or every other corner. -Craft will be based purely on score for the points, but must be aesthetically pleasing (the craft may be mostly made of wings (51+%) but it has to look like a real life sports car / supercar, or have similar aesthetic or it doesn't qualify) -The car must be mostly made out of wings, structural parts, or ailerons, struts, etc. -Only the Juno engines may be used, and up to 12 may be used in the design. *All of them must be used for forward only propulsion. -Only a single 1.25m SAS wheel may be used. Rules for "anything goes": -The rule above apply, but the following is changed. -Any wheel type can be used (up to 8 wheels) -Up to 18 juno's may be used to push the craft FORWARD. -No kerbal is necessary (but there must be a seat, and room for one) -Aesthetics is less of an necessity, crazier designs will be forced into this section, so make them good. (Crazy designs will be seen, and we will have examples at some point.) Any SAS unit may be used, but only one. Rules for "Anything and Everything": -The rules above apply, but the following is changed. -Any amount of wheels -Up to 20 juno's may be used to push the craft FORWARD. -No kerbal is necessary -Aesthetics is NOT an necessity, the craziest designs shall be forced unto this section, so make them the best. Up to three SAS units may be used per craft.
  19. You're close, but the nosecone is at a different angle than the wings, and the rear of the wings has no planform alignment with the body. The "hopeless diamond" is one of the only shapes you can make a KSP aircraft stealth with. We can't make smooth shapes.
  20. The US designates a 6th generation fighter as a "all aspect stealth" design, which means no rudders, and no canards, no elevators, and a wing body design with planform alignment as the main form of stealth for the wings, and a buried engine, cooled exhaust, supermaneuverability, payload capability, supercruise of up to mach 1.4 or higher (if it is to be superior to most modern aircraft being developed) and high range. You lack the following: -All aspect stealth (although it seems to be at least as stealth, or more so than an F-22, or Su-57. -Payload capability (no room for medium range, or long range air to air missiles, or any kind of ground ordinance (inside the body for stealth) -Range, there is no way you can travel across Kerbin with such a small amount of fuel, while carrying payload. I'd say it's probably one of the better attempts I've seen, Heck, I haven't even made one. It'd be very hard to do in KSP.
