    Yes, you can mine resources on planets and moons. Use the scanners to find the area with the biggest ore concentration. Mine the ore using the drills in-game. Then, you can change it to any fuel using the converters. Keep in mind that these need lots of power and radiators to operate. Of course, this assumes you have unlocked all of the parts in the tech tree. Happy mining!

    RCS is very much useful for docking. But meh, I quite like the reaction wheels the way they are. Depends on everyone, I guess

    I dont think a fully self-suficient lunar colony would be completely possible in today's technology... So maybe something like this, earth stops sending supplies, moon dies....
