Today, I worked on this prototype model of the Valkyrie Shuttle from Avatar. It's a VTOL, and handles beautifully, despite the fact that the tail section is a fuselage section, not a tail. And the VTOL still works even after coming back from orbit!

The silence is frustrating, yes I'll admit, but honestly that's really our fault, not SQUADs. They already assured us the situation was fine, and the Devs left under positive circumstances, and everyone dismisses it as corporate speak. What do you want them to say? Would it be better if they said: "oh by the way we're mistreating all our employees, and some got sick of it and left."? Honestly I feel sorry for SQUAD staff on the forums, because they are in a lose/lose situation. Think about it. They stayed silent, and everyone and their cousin jumps on it as proof of guilt. They released a positive statement, and everyone jumped on it and almost went as far as to call it an outright lie, and accused them of covering up. And just think what would happen if SQUAD were to 'confess' to having an evil empire. Totally apart from whether or not it was true, no one would ever work for them again, and next to no one would buy their products. So pretty much it's take scathing criticism and wild rumors, or commit suicide. Frankly, I think SQUAD chose well. I think we should let up on SQUAD and the wild haters who do their thing no matter what, declare a truce, settle down, and once the dust settles, who knows? Maybe finally the Devs who left could afford to show their faces on the forums again without being killed or letting the community kill SQUAD. Maybe then SQUAD could finally tell us exactly why they left. At this point, I think the best move is to hunker down, wait for the drama to blow itself out, and then approach the situation like civilized, rational beings. So. Truce?

Ooohhhhh!!! Now I get it! That's one of those jokes that I'll remember at odd moments like formal dinners and start cracking up seemingly randomly... It is funny. Cheesy, but funny.

What? I have a feeling I'm missing the obvious reason why that joke is funny. I mean, I know @5thHorseman started the original thread dedicated to this topic, but I'm not sure how this is funny. I'm sorry. I feel stupid right now.

Ok, cool. You don’t need to visit this thread if you are tired of hearing about this. I sympathize greatly with how tired you are of this dead horse being beaten again and again, but it’s harder for me to just walk away from a thread I started. Just please try to retain some tact. I know how hard it is. Tact is actually a personal hardship for me. I struggle greatly to have any at all. So I sympathize with you, I just think that the more civil everyone is, the more quickly this will be over, and the sooner SQUAD will feel its safe enough to perhaps help us understand some things.

It doesn’t have to be an official release, so you don’t have to help if you don’t want to, @stali79. I just want someone to help me. I know that there are a few people who are unofficially modifying it, I just forgot who. I just wanna make the pretty shuttle with this pretty mod.

Sooo, I recently watched the movie Avatar (not the airbender) and fell in love with the Valkyrie shuttle. I immediately recognized it as the inspiration for several OPT cockpits, and so I left to make one in the SPH. To my dismay, the only parts it had to make the shuttle with were the cockpit, winglets and fuselage. I looked for the wings, but the only wing that looked remotely like the real wing was too small (something I’ve disliked about this mod for a long time, the smallness of the wings), and did not support TweakScale, oddly enough. Also IFS reported that it could not add fuel to the hollow fuselage, a problem I also ran into before. I also noticed that there was no cargo tail for this fuselage, and I recall that it was taken out by @stali79. Can somebody please help me turn these weeping Kerbals into happy Kerbals? Can somebody please add the ‘Avatar’ class cargo tail back in, and add new, bigger delta wings? I really badly want to recreate my favorite shuttle with my favorite mod, but I can’t. Can somebody help meeeee? Please. For Jeb’s sake. He can’t crash the Valkyrie shuttle until it gets made.

Here: https://kerbalx.com/Mycroft_33/Leviathan All you gotta do is launch it, then switch away from it, then switch back to it, KSP should freeze, then after a long time, it will give you a blank universe. I'd recommend doing this on a laptop, because it's almost guaranteed to work there, as it makes huge demands on the RAM, and laptops only have so much.

That's like what I did, except I kept overdoing it, and kept overdoing it, until I turned it into a tradition. It's funny, but designing large craft just comes naturally to me. I don't do sloppy overkill, I'd like to think that all my stuff is well designed, it certainly works very well. It just turns out that they are capable of doing so much more than their original purpose. For example, I designed a VTOL SSTO for hauling stuff to orbit, and it turned out to be capable of visiting several planets as well without refueling. It had like 13k of delta-v upon reaching orbit with the sloppiest trajectory I could think up. Now that's overkill. My tanks turned out to be capable of taking out entire armadas. My Leviathan can take out the universe. ... Okay, fine! I admit that last one is just lag.

It says we need the owners permission to access the file. Is that right?
