Install? Not really. Just download the .craft file and move it into the SPH in the ships folder or ships folder of the save you want it in

Tried to design a new shuttle to launch an insane telescope, modeled after the spitzer space telescope. Telescope. Too big as assembled for mk3 cargo bay Launch attempt. Failed before the end of the runway Cheated shuttle in orbit, going for reentry. 'Splosions followed. EDIT: Retested with new booster design, got into orbit pretty much full.

Aww yeah. And that's the way I like it. The user below me has played portal.
-
Combination of youtube videos and screwing around till I figured it out myself. Can't really remember the exact ratio of screwing around to youtube videos.

Installed Scatterer! Everything looks prettier. Also my frames may have dropped a bit... Oh well. Also, did STS-2b from the shuttle challenge. Pics! (or, at least the nice ones.)
-
Me too! I also have AP bio on Monday.
-
Sorry. @TheEpicSquared Lets try to get you on here!
-
Wrong! I am decent at building SSTO's, just not efficiently. The user below me goes to high school.

Twice. Once for a science container return, and another as an aesthetic part on a test build, as a fake wheel.

SS Sapphire, a big technology demonstrator

Oooh. Shiny! I like. Part count could be worse. Still going to chug.... Wondering now - Frames per second or seconds per frame? -
Jumping rockets
qzgy replied to Templer_12's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Just want to check, do you have anything clipped into the launch pad when it firsts load? On the runway at least, if an open cargo bay is the lowest part, it will also jump and often damage the craft. -
Early 2015, a friend at school told me about it and kinda let me demo a bit, and the 1.0 sale. Missed it, but I don't mind.

That actually makes sense.. Why have it like this? I guess there is some gameplay reason
-
That's sweet. Why put on a rapier engine? Aldson wasn't going to roast Stellissa or something, right?

Actually, it was that they were too far up the air brake, meaning it slid off when deployed. Thanks though. Thanks, though I was already doing that. Worked further on it. Now it looks the part more, but the docking ports do not dock properly. Any tips? Proportions aren't exactly the same, but its close enough... I know, needs to be rotated. Will work on that later Misalignment thing

Alt-f-12, click the cheats tab .... oh wait you wanted to do this without cheats.... I would just say to do as the others have suggested, and take many contracts on one mission. Sometimes, I think you get money for "World firsts" (correct me if I am wrong), so if you could do one or two of those, that would also help.
-
Its not the hinges, its the rcs balls I am attempting to use on the airbrakes to move the panels. I saw the technique on (i think) Servo's tomcat.
-
On it! Sorta

My most recent one was "Forget to put crew in and lose control in a shuttle with little to no battery life" Ended up spinning, since that's how the controls were when the EC went to zero.

Reference to the James Bond film You Only Live Twice. The actual craft is called the Bird one, ran by SPECTRE operatives (the main baddies from the film/series). Idea was to capture an American spacecraft, but of course, plot thwarted, probably with epic explosions Any one want to say if the movie was good or bad? Never watched it. And no, I did not know this from heart. I used the internet to look it up. Edit: So apparently, the exact intent was not what I had mentioned. See Martian Emigrant's post.

KSP In Stereoscopic 3D
qzgy replied to ZooNamedGames's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
But then you would have to assume that people have two monitors, and the graphics capability to run it.
