  1. I'm still running 1.3.0 and I haven't had any rad issues. I was making a craft the other day with the RCS ball bearing and it spinning at around 30 Rad/s according to VOID
  2. I've heard this termed as I think bamboo staging and a twisted candle. I feel its impractical though.
  3. Your high school-to-be has a foosball team? That's amazing! I didn't know competitive foosball was a thing.
  4. Off topic but I just wanna say somethings about this - Are you having it plutonium or uranium based? If uranium, I think if you have a high enough critical mass of very pure U-235, you can basically have one chunk slam into another chunk - not many other fancy physics required. Plutonium - pretty much all of them are implosion based. High explosives are used to push a plutonium sphere into a critical mass (the point where a runaway nuclear reaction occurs - for plutonium they did this by having a super high density at the time of explosion). Has to be VERY precise though. If it isn't, no boom. Don't understand why you need tungsten though... Yes, I know you can just google this but I just wanted to say that here. Also... Why?? Are you trying to prove something to said person? or is it unrelated?
  5. Thank you. I hope I do it justice. I'm not super worried about replicating the curves quite exactly, but I'll try to get it as close as possible. I've already changed the body shape slightly to try to hide the juno engines (which wasn't quite enough....) I too am interested to see how it will come out.
  6. Took a break from stupidly big craft to make a soft-ish replica of a Bugatti 100P with REAL engines. Not finished yer, but working on it. Original for reference.
  7. There's a really pretty plane called the Bugatti 100P. Originally designed for an air race, it was never completed. Started work on a replica of it.
  8. The biggest is only... 1200 parts? or something like that. The even bigger one - I caved and used tweakscale. I could have made the wings normally, but I was lazy.
  9. I fully and whole heartedly accept that title. Now just actually need to polish and release.
  10. hmmm I wonder if we should get a member of the female species to verify this. I am not one. Not saying your advice is necessarily bad, but I'm a bit skeptical.
  11. Its not that surprising actually. All european languages share a common background (well sorta, in the language families - germanic, latin etc) and if a group splinters off and settles a new place without much interaction, of course the language is going to change, but not by much. And the languages of people near each other will start to resemble similar things, and if there was an invasion of some sort, they would have brought their language with them and it might have integrated into the culture. European language similarity is also helped by the fact that its relatively small. A country is more sized like a US state than the US Excuse the bad explanation of ligual development.
  12. Inventive wingsuits. And potentially dangerous. It looks perfect for slicing off a piece of arm or something in that lower one. I like the drawing though.
  13. This is shaping up quite nicely. But.... you've got that 6th link in your sig that seems to be mildly abandoned.... Hows that going?
  14. pfft. I have a 15000 passenger craft lined up. Need to fiddle with over the weekend...
  15. On the other hand...( I'm not trying to noob-bash or anything) no real techniques were given. Just look at this cool thing I made, which isn't really the purpose of this thread. please dont get offended moderators.
  16. I have interacted with members of the opposite sex. Never a serious relationship though. So... yeah. I'm just gonna get popcorn and watch things play out. I mean no offense, but I kinda like watching these things play out.
  17. Was she German or something? Apparently, the word squirrel is hard to pronounce for them. IDK, just guessing. Also just to add one more - Squirble. Also... just looked at the word "squirrel"... it looks weird when I think about it.
  18. According to the wiki, the thermometer weighs 0.01 tons and the cubic strut is 0.00 tons. (in game IIRC its 0.005.... I think) 0.01*4 = 0.04 > 0.02 = 0.005*4
  19. Mind If I ask for an electric engine? You know, for fun. And also since there are plans for electrically driven craft in the near future.
