  1. @Already_Dead Have you got the Mission Control and the Tracking Station upgraded to the point that you can use the maneuver creator app ?
  2. You need to upgrade Mission Control and the Tracking Station to some degree for it to show itself
  3. We were told that docking ports aren't robotic and therefore cant cause drift. Because that ended up being incorrect means that the devs have more information now they didn't have before. This could actually point them in the right direction to where the root issue is
  4. This is the final push guys to get bugs fixed. We will definitely get a 1.12.2, but will we get a 1.12.3? or a 1.12.4? The developers come and tell us the available tools that can help fix KSP and then we abuse them? The developers we see here aren't Squad, they work for Squad. Killing the messenger is pointless. The final push...I have at least 20 bug reports since 1.12 came out. I don't know how many more we have before KSP is abandoned so I am going to report a lot more Tell me what bugs you have in 1.12 in a private message and I will investigate them and report them. I have put aside 2 weeks just for reporting bugs @JPLRepohas given us the available tools, he didn't create the tools

Bug #28108: Wheel's friction is too low on certain planets and crafts that didnt slide in 1.11 do slide in 1.12 - Kerbal Space Program - Squad Bugtracker @herbal space program @Emperoreddy@lemming1 Yeah I did a lot of testing on the wheels. 1.11.2 the test crafts were fine. 1.12 they start sliding down slops. havent done anything with the landing legs yet My bug report has recommended settings for some of the planets.

To get almost the same result with robotics all I would need to do is make a robotic part the root part

They cause all parts within a craft to update their stressed joint locations on saving the game just like the robotics. To have drifting issues all you now need is just one docking ports. no robotics necessary. Upvotes would be nice guys on this one
  8. Applying physical struts using EVA construction is problematic because they use different part identifiers to decide they are connected. In a good amount of cases people will find physical struts will not be attached on reloading the scene, without knowing that information I have heard from multiple sources that the docking ports will have a lock feature in the next planned update of 1.12 that allows the autostrut through. its already fixed we just have to wait until then. The real problem is the new docking ports now suffer from a similar issue to robotic drift. That's where reusability is going to be a real problem

  10. I see when I manually adjust the wheels with the wheel assist that it can gradually move the turning or instantly move the turning. Gimballing is instant right? what would adding something like the manual wheel assist to the gimballing affect rocket control?

  13. The prize being US only is probably a US law requirement. I watch something called Critical Role. they can only give prizes to people in the US and Canada excluding Quebec. Probably something similar Don't take it personally.
