  1. @BezKartuzaIf you cant find a bug report for it, do a bug report for it and attach the craft file and I will test it. (one where the RCS ports aren't moving with the craft)
  2. Excellent @The Aziz so whens 1.12 coming out?
  3. Both KER and KSP depend on the location of the root part to know how to report Deltav. For both I recommend having the root part on the top stage. KER is generally more accurate in my own experience, I have only found KSP being more accurate than KER in one situation which I cant remember off hand Don't trust the KSP deltav in the following 2 cases: When there are tanks that have uneven amounts of LQ fuel verses OX within the one stage/tanks When you have changed the thrust limiter of stages where there are multiple engines. Why? no idea
  4. @coolaidthx This could be the following bug: Bug #24391: DLC Fails to Load With Certain Character Combinations in File Path - Kerbal Space Program - Squad Bugtracker My Recommendation: If the game is installed to something similar to D:\KSP Installs\1.8.1+MH+BG\ remove any symbols from the path (e.g D:\KSP Installs\1.8.1MHBG\) If its installed using Steam or similar, copy the folder and back it up. Then uninstall and then reinstall to a new folder that hasn't got any symbols and then past the copy right into the main KSP folder If that doesn't work or isn't the problem, put all the mods into another folder and restart KSP mod free to see if that's the cause Verify the files using Steam (if you are using Steam) I have no idea how verifying affects mod files though. Probably back up the whole folder before you do so Hope that helps
  5. Bug #27381: Physical Struts are only loyal to the parts of the craft that it was originally attached to on reloading a scene. They disconnect in all other cases. (EVA Construction) - Kerbal Space Program - Squad Bugtracker Somehow the strut identifies with the craft's parts it was originally on. The strut can identify with the new craft if its put into a container first...BUT only with the parts the craft originally had.
  6. Well all speculation aside, maybe @SQUADwill release a 0.0.2 this time....maybe 1.11.1 is worse than 1.11.0 for eva construction...
  7. 1.11.1 added some pretty severe issues when using EVA construction. EVA construction is amazing addition to KSP and it really was worthy of being a DLC instead of just being a standard update, but it needs to be fixed right?
  8. Its weird. Its such a simple fix. If the settings.cfg file was upgraded from 1.7.3 through 1.11.1 then the shadow settings would be as I have said, and noone would need to even look at them
  9. @Lisias Theres two things that need to happen for the bug to occur: 1. The part needs to NOT have the ability to use Same Vessel Interaction. That is, parts when you right click DON'T have the Same Vessel Interaction option at all. Some of the parts that don't are: Physical Struts Small Pizza Plate (FL-A5 Adapter) Cubic Octagonal Strut Octagonal Strut BZ-52 Radial Attachment Point Vernor Engine Flags Z-400 Rechargeable Battery Z-100 Rechargeable Battery Pack 2. There needs to be clipping with the great grandparent part What I haven't tested that much is radial attachment because that's why the following video happens. This craft that I made needed a lot of physical struts which are inside other parts. Oh... and https://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/27242 This bug has parts fall off a craft. Exactly the same ones, ones that don't have the ability to have same vessel interaction. If you watch the video within the bug report wait for the physical struts to start rolling down the hill....
  10. Took me hours to figure out what EJ had done. It was obvious he couldn't place the robotic part, even on the ground by the looks of it. (it was staying red) Then it just snapped into the position it was before he grabbed it because he pressed 'i' to get out of eva construction. Only reason I knew 'i' was how to get in and out of EVA construction was because he said so to a viewer
  11. This is what blew up EJ_SAs craft https://www.twitch.tv/ej_sa/clip/SweetDarkTarsierYouWHY https://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/27194 This is another bug that moved EJs entire craft also blowing up things. https://www.twitch.tv/ej_sa/clip/AgreeableSingleSangFutureMan https://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/27234 not sure about the spot light @Rakete Sorry I meant @Lisias who that was quoted from
  12. Theres two crafts (excluding the Kerbal) in the scene. It doesnt become 1 craft until EVA construction turns off. Dont tell Squad that its a bug, because its not (its not. it cant be!!!!)
  13. I think the EVA construction was DLC worthy. Maybe that's the reason its having so many problems because its just a free update. I really hope for a 1.11.2
  14. I think he usually figures out his own bugs for youtube, not from others? But I bet he could do something seriously interesting
  15. So... with the introduction of 1.11.1, parts seem to be turning on same vessel interaction which usually cant when EVA Construction is used https://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/27194 If there are parts clipped inside that don't usually have same vessel interaction, it seems to turn on and can rip stations or crafts apart in spectacular ways This is my Eve Rocket that has a landing pad for a water landing. It has many MANY physical struts inside to get it rock solid.... And look at the video within the bug report. @Lupi has a station with a SSTO attached. the explosion is unbelievable BEST BUG EVER. Puts a smile on my face every time I see what it does I invite you to post your explosions. Only while 1.11.1 lasts....
  16. @Snark Pretty sure I reported this bug. https://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/27194 Pity there is no video to show the issue, it could technically be a few bugs all at the same time.
  17. Yeah, I reported that bug. pretty entertaining @michu A 1.11.2 would be nice to counter that https://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/27194 Main reason that I can determine is that parts that dont have an option for same vehicle interaction (in SPH or in scene) seem to be doing exactly that for parts that are one removed from where they are connected. I dont remember that happening in 1.11.0
  18. Its a new computer right? which means a new Steam install. I wonder if thats got anything to do with it. Good that you figured out a way around it though.
  19. I found someone who gave me their KSP.log for KSP 1.11.1 with DLC and no mods. Their log is identical to mine and their KSP works and mine works. so your KSP install has to be corrupted. Uninstalling, deleting ksp folder, reinstalling should correct the problem
  20. @Saphira I moved my steam KSP to the same location as yours and my log file doesnt load the files within the folders in the same order. I recommend doing the following: 1. Uninstall KSP via Stream 2. Delete the KSP folder which in your case is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\" 3. Reinstall Kerbal Space Program Mine [LOG 21:12:48.921] ExpansionsLoader: Expansions loaded in 23.515s [LOG 21:12:48.921] Loading Systems: Elapsed time is 62.08627s Yours [LOG 21:28:18.794] ExpansionsLoader: Expansions loaded in 24.903s [LOG 21:28:18.795] Loading Systems: Elapsed time is 48.292s This makes me think you have a corrupted installation. But I cant be sure because it depends on different peoples computers and what they are doing at the same time as loading in the game. Reinstalled KSP and now mine is loading at about the same speed as yours But my KSP loads perfectly fine
  21. Your log file is nearly identical to mine up to a point where its loading different information. I will try a few things to see if I can force KSP to do the same thing on my computer
