...Yes. Assuming a reasonable timeline, a non-transferrable ticket, and support from my legal guardians, YES. But given the option (unless BFR has flown 100+ times with good reliability bu then) I would prefer to be transferred to the second or third flight. As enthusiastic and optimistic as I am about BFR, I try to have a healthy amount of skepticism... Since when do things in aerospace go perfectly the first time around? I'd rather have a 10% chance of death but not be first than be the first with a 25% chance of death (numbers pulled out of my hat, it is far too early to estimate the BFR's reliability).

Endersmens has posted twice since the beginning of 2017, has last visited a month ago, and looking at his post history he is in a really tough spot in life right now, so I'd guess no.

The particular career I'm doing this for involves an aspirational goal of crewed bases and stations on every world and an abundance of alternate crews. Even if we assume 4 per base, 14 worlds, 3 worlds with just stations, and nothing else, that's 31 bases/stations, meaning 124 Kerbals. RIP framerate, but still.

TBH I use this a lot, to fix things that "should" happen. If I do something cool I might give some rep (although I have literally never needed rep at all) or if I crash a NERVA I might subtract 100k funds and some rep, or in your case that's a good idea. But really what I use it for is hiring astronauts. I should not have to spend a million funds to hire an astronaut.

Not to be off topic any more (last post I promise!) but the first story I tried to write that was both decent and long was about the La Palma Megatsunami. I never finished it, I made some bad plot choices (okay, the main characters are wandering through a lifeless wasteland, now what?) but for a long time that was the best thing I'd written! Back to SpaceX, the next launch is on October 6, so there's quite some time to twiddle our thumbs.

You'd be surprised how much of the general public doesn't know how orbits work.
