  1. Thank you for posting it here. What the hell's with the textures? Like the explosions look great(if a little flat for some reason,) but the ground textures are just... BLEGH. And those trees!
  2. Well, they're certainly giving the EA demo those graphics. Time will tell whether or not the release actually has these graphics.
  3. Since no one has posted it yet, might as well post it here. I wish they'd use a bump map or something on the terrain to give the texture a bit more depth, but it isn't terrible.
  4. This would be pretty cool, and since we know it's not just cooperative but competitive, that means it's almost inevitable we will get to see things like this. Thanks for sharing Vl3d.
  5. Why THAT system? Why not have N-body for all of the planets? Eh, oh well. I'll let them know about it being patched.
  6. 151, the original Pokemon! Hey uh, this is a bit stupid but has anyone heard about the N-body physics? Trying to remember if they were going to implement it or if we're stuck with patched conics still. I want to tell my cousins more about what they can expect.
  7. Has anyone paid attention to the filename of the new image? It's "thepizzaisalie". Did someone get snubbed out of a pizza party at IG?
  8. Oh yeah, that's weird. They're MK3 to MK2, completely separate to the rest of the 3.75m rocket parts.
  9. It probably is. It isn't cynical to assume so, it means they care about us. I wonder how the Discord's doing.
  10. Well, that is what Aziz has claimed. Now we await Aziz's either concession, agreement to disagree, or counterargument.
  11. . . . No. That was not their argument. Their argument was "multiplayer games are played for longer than singleplayer games, which are usually played through once or twice and then sat down."
  12. I'll just butt in and say, this in an invalid critique. Vl3d literally linked to what he's talking about, and gave direct quotes. They promised high graphical fidelity, even if performance is a priority.
  13. Well, if you count 2019, during ShadowZone's interview he brings up this question(though he used triple docking ports as his example,) and he got the reply back "we can look into it."
  14. I'm confused on why you're disappointed personally. I'd be elated if a high quality mod was implemented into sequel game, and was when Fallout 4 tried its hand at it. They're also probably different models, because I'm pretty sure the original models are under a license which means neither IG, nor Squad can use them. That said, "legally distinct models that happen to look like the original models but slightly different" will invoke the same feelings as the original models so your point stands and that falls to semantics.
  15. I'd argue that EA is technically a form of pre-orders, with the pre-order bonus being the ability to play one or multiple builds of the game early, but that's besides the point.
  16. Yes, you should. Using "nobody pays me for this" is a jar filled crutch in this argument. If you are going to criticize them like this, then you should be ready to offer an analysis OR solutions to these problems too, and if you can't, then keep your fingers away from your keyboard and let someone else do it. Just saying you don't like "X" means literally nothing if you aren't willing to try to identify the exact problem, or to offer potential solutions to resolve the problem. All you've done is waste everyone's time.
  17. Early Access is an open beta that you can opt in for a price, but it also gives you the game on release. Early Access games are also typically cheaper than their actual release counterparts. The downside is that it is an open beta of a game which may change in a way that won't make you happy at the released product. Kerbal Space Program 2 should be mostly exempt from this potential caveat, as everything is basically getting fine tuned rather than making huge changes during development.
  18. Hey, do we have a list of things that has been added to the scope since the original announcement of "interstellar, colonies, and multiplayer?"
  19. Looks like an SAS module or maybe a lens cap. It'd be awesome to have space telescopes, perhaps as the way to discover the neighboring solar systems? Or, maybe you already know of the neighboring solar systems, but you use the telescope to get more information if you'd rather know what planets are there and their orbits before arriving. Hmm... suggestions material.
  20. Goddard also fell for the pendulum theory so there may be gaps yet to be solved before any such mission can be undertaken. This all makes me wonder if a turboprop or a jet engine could properly function on Mars, presuming that you're able to feed it oxygen somehow, either by stripping the carbon from the air or just coming with your own tank of oxidizer.
