  1. Sorry, output_log is Windows, you mentioned not finding it and I should have been more clear. On Linux it's the player.log in "/home/user/.config/unity3d/Squad/Kerbal Space Program" and the KSP.log in the main KSP directory, there isn't a separate log for x64.
  2. The world is a little worse off today, but it's a much better world for having had Leonard Nimoy in it.
  3. There's a lot of players with MechJeb installed, some use it a lot and hand-fly when it suits them, some hand-fly a lot and use MechJeb when it suits them... Both of these are correct, as are using MechJeb all the time and not using it at all. The problem isn't MechJeb, we see the exact same attitude that we see with MechJeb expressed to a greater or lesser degree towards part clipping, conf edits, procedural parts... What is different? What causes this? Why do some players get upset when they see others playing a game differently to themselves? Answer that and you have your answer for why MechJeb is so "controversial" Now please stay on topic.
  4. inB4 items are mentioned that are for rectal use only. Remember to keep it clean guys
  5. This may be something that is only addressable by changing the code that handles input, I found these on the Unity site. Using a wacom for input. Unity input docs. If Unity won't use the pen in either mode there may be nothing we can do, sorry :/
  6. The patcher can download the whole game, just run it in an empty folder, it'll see that all the files need to be "replaced"
  7. The Navy could always be relied upon to provide the Catherine wheels on bonfire night.
  8. Well this thread was completely ruined by pseudo-science and conspiracy :/ I'll just leave this here.
  9. If it is fine in windowed mode, have you considered setting the window resolution to match your desktop and using the -popupwindow command line argument?
  10. It'll be there for purchasers prior to the May 2013 cutoff, after that I don't know.
  11. I don't think it's posible to convert a store purchase to Steam anymore, that was a pre-Steam release thing.
  12. I think they should be renamed, and turned into either variable speed control moment gyroscopes or four gimbal CMG's
  13. I have heard that DownThemAll can fail with KSP so it may be worth trying another download manager. There is a patcher for KSP that can resume after a failed or interrupted download, it's worth a try
  14. I have no problem with this necro, the thread seems to be back on its feet And it is a good idea.
  15. That is quite enough of that, I expect this altercation to end now and for this thread to stay on topic.
  16. Hi rectifier, please don't go down that route, I don't know how to fix your internet but maybe someone will have a idea, and that kind of "distribution" isn't allowed to be discussed here. You could try downloading it at another location, there is no DRM tying KSP to a machine so you can pop it on a USB stick and take it with you.
  17. Funny, forumers frequently find foolishly fun frolics. afgncap
  18. Hi Tetriswizard, it's most likely that the output from the pen isn't quite the same as from a mouse, so the Unity game engine does not know how to use it. For example the engine could be waiting for a different "move" signal than the pen is designed to provide. This would be a driver issue, or perhaps a mode issue, I suggest checking the tablet software for any options on movement mode such as absolute (pointer is exactly where you place the pen, like a touchscreen) and relative (pointer must be moved into position with the pen, like a mouse) modes.
  19. Have you tested a new savegame? You may find that it works, there seems to be an issue with your current save As for the forum, no it is not related.
  20. If playing a game from a protected Windows folder, you'll often find save files and configuration files in a hidden applications folder instead of where you'd expect. Usually it's something like C:\users\username\application_data(this is hidden)\Kerbal Space Program... Don't forget to enable viewing of hidden files and folders
  21. Very interesting Carcharodon, good work
  22. Woah that's a big one very nice RedCow, explosive staging is best staging
  23. No one is ever swayed by harsh words, at most all the arguer can gain is the animosity of those around them. Harshly worded criticism has no more value than unfounded criticism, but if you put forward your points civilly you'll find others more welcoming to your words. Express yourself in regular ways, not confrontational ways, and you'll find things a lot smoother +repped
  24. KSP images please ImJake, and no reaction images
