  1. I think I found a fellow Latin scholar. OT: 10/10 "forum, -i" noun: marketplace, square
  2. That's what I'm asking for - is there a lookalike for 1.1.3 or am I going to have to wait for Adjustable Landing Gear which in turn means waiting for 1.2.x?
  3. I haven't moved off of 1.0.5 yet, and I recently found out that the small retractable landing gear have been...retextured... I was wondering if a mod for 1.1.3 exists that adds them back into the game that is not Ven's Stock Revamp.
  4. 7/10 Not really sure what I'm looking at here...
  5. To the best of my knowledge, no. Also, it is unbelievably painful to use a terminal with a non-monospace font. It also breaks custom user inputs and displays.
  6. https://kerbalx.com/Rezolution/P-79-Scythe Found it on KerbalX, he posted the edit link, not the craft link
  7. The Sun-Praisers' Aerospace Agency [SPAA] presents: THE MAGIC BOX! Features: No part clipping! (apart from the engines being a little too close to each other) LOOPS! Easy to use! Just turn on SAS, stage, and wait for TWR to pass 1.0! Be careful not to stall the Magic Box! Stable at 2X physwarp! Parachutes (for landing without explosions!) TWR > 1! (for being able to take off in the first place) ~70 m/s max speed! Works without cheats! Powerful reaction wheels (for added maneuverability!) Lots of room inside for test subjects volunteers! Order yours today for only √12082.0 kredits today! https://kerbalx.com/DaMachinator/The-Magic-Box-001 Mods used: RLA Stockalike (probe core) Modular Rocket Systems (radially attachable reaction wheels) Inspired by an IRC user who was trying to convince me to use FAR by demonstrating the silliness of stock aero.
  8. Ah...Well, I'm waiting for KSP to load this very minute, and then I'll post my entry. Maybe multiple entries.
  9. I have a highly agile light fighter, but it is not capable of supersonic flight. It can be...modified...to do maneuvers like the Pugachev's Cobra using a very powerful modded vectoring engine from Bahamuto Dynamics, but the intended engine is the Wheesley.
  10. Interestingly enough, as far as low-speed jets go, the Wheesley might outperform the Juno - but that's definitely outside the scope of this competition.
  11. I am referring to the experiment in which the force exerted by the drive was due to the magnetic field of the power cables from an external power source.
  12. IMHO if this were to be implemented it would require a fundamental change in the game, that of allowing acceleration of vessels on rails. Otherwise, the amount of time required to perform any significant maneuvers with such a craft would be absurd. This also applies to any drives using radiation pressure (solar sails, laser sails). This ignores whether such a drive is actually possible, which I find highly unlikely. To the best of my knowledge, all positive results obtained so far have been: determined later to be the result of human error side effects of using a power source external to the device registered on devices with insufficient precision
  13. https://spacedock.info/mod/371/Carcharoth Aeronautics Bunch of old stuff, like Fat Man and some of Russia's early bombs.
  14. Nope, some other mod. NKD doesn't have the Davy Crockett.
  15. If I had any more fuel, I wouldn't be stuck here, would I?
  16. ?/10 How is that even possible... TECHNICALLY it was a very eccentric orbit with a low periapse and an apoapse at about Kerbin's orbit. I was trying to go to Moho, and missed.
  17. Hmm...The Sun-Praisers' Aerospace Agency might be able to conjure up some defense systems, mostly related to tungsten carbide rod clusters with a deorbit engine packing enough Delta-V to neutralize surface-relative velocity from high polar orbit...
  18. Just add the correct extension to the end of the URL and verify it resolves correctly. KSP screenshots should be .png's, IIRC.
