  1. Laaaaame. You could say Eta got more of a mental whipping from Thalia than was intended expected. She's not supposed to be so mean!

I expanded my Loki base today, and realized, in preparation to launch the refueler for the station that the moon has at best 1% Water anywhere, and I need it to produce FusionPellets and have a large supply of Water to burn with the FusionPellets. Plenty creativity has been found and shall be used for alternate solutions for the ultimate Gael return problem. The situation makes things fun and challenging, but some certain mod features being broken takes a bit away from the fun. The base is in the Petrification biome, with zero Water. The base is trickling it out via a Mono + Oxidizer fuel cell in the Doc Science Lab so I need > 1 of this lab. I almost wish I still had a life support mod in this game install. Then I would have better anticipated the Water shortage.
  3. A supplemental rover. Three inflatable tanks, a Doc Sci Lab on the back for producing FusionPellets (and EC and Water out of Mono and Oxidizer), and plenty inventory space possibly full of new stuff...and a command seat for driving it lik a truck.... Which I happily did. Its main purpose is to provide more tankage, even than itself. See the 4-way fuel hub unpacked from within it in the 2nd pic. The logistics system doesn't work for me and I've already burned myself out trying to get it fixed but I've given up and must resort to using KAS pipes and bracing against the eventual pipe kraken strike.

  5. I started the texture pass on Airline Kuisine, mainly concerning its use with Snacks and its coming usability with Pathfinder. I also posted 8 crafts to KerbalX... I'm surprised it has only been 1 month since my last post there. Link in my signature.
  6. @Fireheart318 Actually at the time that person is using Gameslinx Planet Overhaul. They're on Dreidos (ringed desert planet with drying oceans) in particular, I think.
  7. download OPT Reconfig then take the folder OPT_Reconfig ( GameData/OPT_Reconfig/ ) from in the zip and put it in the GameData folder in your KSP folder. Once it is there alongside the folders of Squad and everything you installed from CKAN, you installed it correctly. OPT Legacy absolutely needs this but it is optional for Main OPT.
  8. Probably not. They're not intended for that kind of scale. The largest one (2.5m) only produces 900 EC/s, and I remember screenshots of your giant KSPI-powered truss project.
  9. You will get no support there. I don't think Squad even released a version less than 0.2 lol! In seriousness, those are known issues and unfortunately they aren't going to be fixed anytime soon. Parts with certain complex colliders in any mods will trigger this problem. Either install this or try not to use those parts. Sorry. Speaking of patches and FAR, you may want to grab this if you haven't already. It enables OPT to integrate with newer/better/more mods.
  10. Finally... Textures! With loud and clear™ Pathfinder logo. Airline Kuisine now does a lot more than just Snacks! if Pathfinder is present too. The original green accent and indicator diamond theme for Snacks alone is phased out. Mk3 textures coming very soon™

  12. It is, in the basic deal that it will not clash with GPP over anything, and it will not be unloaded by GPP (concerning alphabetic loading sequences of mods).
  13. I tried a re-usability thing... half-heartedly and with some expectedly sci-fi/OP devices, like the 2.5m lifter engine. Then I revisited my Gauss adventure. It was quite eventful and full of epic screenshots. It's too much to write and post pictures here.   14. The FunHouse base, fully unpacked.It very much needs a (likely large) companion lander full of Equipment to start it off.
  15. Most of it is Thor Tech, my mod. The long Mk2 cabin is from Airline Kuisine, also my mod but useless without a life support mod and is currently very bugged. (The bug is fixed but unreleased)
  16. Modified my test plane into a cruiser inspired by Boom Supersonic, and no longer an SSTO. In a straight ascent to 31km on Eve it made Mach 3, but during descent and in any level flight afterward it could not longer hold even Mach 1. Adequate™ performance. Jeb and Val are in there. And I left them on Eve. Pink grapefruit juice planet......???

  19. Yes, you can make SSTOs with this. They can be quite OP at stock scale but once you step up, maybe even to real scale, Thor Tech will very nicely scratch a very terrible gameplay itch. Thor Tech is also focused on making oxygen-less atmospheres more fun to operate in. Spaceplane parts, no, not in the general sense. You get engines, special tanks, intakes, a radiator, nuclear reactors and the two cockpits but no array of cool things like a big family of wings and functional body pieces.
  20. This is unlikely. There should be no threat to your playthrough.
  21. I must remember to give this a try. It links the stock jet engine sounds (not the rockets though) to IRL engine samples. I haven't tried it in-game but it's pretty promising. Yes I know, I'm suggesting +1 mod for people to install. But while I may be doing so, I'd like as much as anyone for Squad to revert these sounds directly.
