  2. It raises the efficiency of only two engines (the ARI-75 vac Isp raised from 340 to 380, and the J Linear Aerospike by nearly as much). I haven't made any attempt to deal with the drag problem but I intend to. I noticed that quickly enough and changed it to CC. Yes, OPT Reconfig requires B9 Part Switch. And it recommends Community Resource Pack. I've posted an OPT Legacy update now and allowed it to appear on CKAN. Feel free to make the following changes: "OPTSpacePlane" whatever is renamed to "OPT Spaceplane Parts" and whatever issues with it are cleaned up. (I'd be quite thankful. ) OPT Reconfig is required by OPT Spaceplane and OPT Legacy Remove any references to Firespitter or Interstellar Fuel Switch.
  3. After OPT's own config applies, OPT Reconfig applies, in sequence. There's nothing to worry about.

OPT Reconfig Supplies highly needed config files to keep OPT Spaceplane Parts | Continued useful and alive in the absence of the original modder, @K.Yeon and in the changing KSP gameplay landscape. It is an optional enhancement to OPT's "Main" package (V2.0.1) and it does nothing by itself. It is required by OPT Legacy and by OPT Spaceplane Continued. Do not use this: With my old modlets OPT_USI or OPT_WBI. They are now features of this mod. With OPT Legacy v1.0.9 or lower. If you have an OPT FAR config already.   6. I suspect you're using Kerbalism. Kerbalism's config is missing the tank type definitions. It has the subtypes but not these. This is for that dev to fix, not Nertea.
  7. TheSpice dos not go inside the 00DeepSky folder. It goes beside it in the DeepSky (no zeroes) folder. At the part where you can't configure SG+Atm, it's because neither of those are tweakable (while in the ship editors). It's a decision I've been thinking on for a very long time. I suppose I ultimately made the bad decision.
  8. Don't get me started on cheaty things. OPT is based in sci-fi. People need to see that and deal with it, or uninstall OPT. But I have a config coming that'll tame things a bit.

  10. @Rezza Goan you may have missed it (as I didn't think of it at the time). This mod requires another mod of mine, Deep Sky Core (linked in the OP). That's where the intakes are, and a couple of things shared by Spice and my other part mods.
  11. This mod fits the bill, but it does not account for kerbals bruising their knees and face. It works well alongside any life support mod.
  12. Yes and no. The main developer @K.Yeon has vanished. (He might return, I don't know when, with a big update, but I'm not optimistic.) Some of us who maintain OPT Legacy (the retirement and expansion pack for OPT) are still around. I provide updates mainly through configs but there's nothing coming in the way of all-new parts or IVA. Any parts that do come will be in OPT Legacy and are usually re-imagination of existing parts like: K, KH, Humpback inline SAS aerodynamic RCS that use LFO, not Mono J Drone Core with RCS using LFO, not Mono The J-60D dual mode engine and two warpjet engines

I've been contemplating a better idea for the proposed rebalance config, and reached the conclusion that it would be a great idea to roll this and all of my config work for OPT Legacy together into a new mod that affects both and is required by both. It means a 3rd OPT major download but it means players who don't want OPT Legacy won't have to download its bulk to access them.
  17. Built a small (by OPT standards) SSTO to go on the front (or back) of a station. No OPT engines here though. I'm avoiding using Legacy parts for a while and where I'm going, there's no Oxygen to feed OPT Main's jet engines. Built a vacuum lander with vertical thrust only. This is a little awkward but it's quite efficient in the long run. Then I learned to use Angel's cruise control for "persistent thrust" and where to throttle limit the engine on this station so it doesn't threaten to melt itself. The plane is too big and somewhat ugly next to the station so I made a smaller one (the only OPT parts on it are wings) to replace this with... But I didn't screenshot it.

  21. Returning spice for profit is one of the first things I considered when I started this. Try it out and let me know. I'm not quite sure about the Spice Gas, but I can safely say you'll get much bang for your buck with everything else.
