Update: I can't repeat this error reliably. Sometimes it's there, sometimes not. I think, it has something to do with multiple encounters with a moon and leaving SOI of the parent in the future. It seems, that this is a stock bug when more patched conics are rendered and maneuver editors (Precise Node, MJ etc.) just pronounce it, because they can tweak nodes better. It's not gamebreaking, so I'm leaving it as is. -

Parameter name: index at System.Collections.Generic.List`1[PatchRendering].get_Item (Int32 index) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at OrbitTargeter.ReferencePatchSelect () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at OrbitTargeter.LateUpdate () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: Line: -1) It happened twice, as of today, when I was executing a transfer maneuver to the Mun. I have patched conics set to 5 and draw mode to 0 and this error was generated when Mun periapsis was moving toward periapsis of planned maneuver. -

Yep, error is gone. Nice and quick work Also I tested @Rantanplan1986's issue with a skycrane, because I have that mod. Accessibility of deltaV readouts for a skycrane depends on the order in which fuel tanks are added. Fuel tanks must be added after the skycrane for proper calculation of the deltaV. If the fuel tank is added first and the skycrane second, then KER shows that stage with 0 deltaV (in all stages). It's the same regardless if the root is the probe, the fuel tank or the skycrane. -

Did some tests. It seems, that this is happening only after the game start. I can replicate it every time, when I try to open settings window first time I'm in space centre. The error is gone after a scene change and return to space center. I can replicate @MiniMatt's error.

I'm getting null refs when I want to open LS settings window in space center. Clean KSP install, only USI-LS 0.5.3.0 installed. Doesn't matter, if it's x32 or x64 version of the game. Hi, I found a bug, when I was using DN button to set up a maneuver node in the descending node. The maneuver node was way off actual DN. Edit: A maneuver in DN when target is set is ok, no errors in KSP log and Precise Node 1.2.4 is only mod installed. -

Ah, ok. Than maybe use that ScienceExchange util. Or you can use a strategy after full tech tree unlock. There is one, which can change science points for funds. What you propose in your thread is complete science overhaul. -

I can say only one thing, try it for yourself You can always delete it. If you have a Steam version of the game, then you can switch on FPS overlay in the game.
