Yeah. I would like to see someone set up an orbital mauever with only Juno’s.
-
Yeah. About what I expected. I stopped using that missile long ago, as it’s way too part count heavy.
-
Here. Try this. It's a little more heavy duty, as it's basically a cluster missile. Use the vector for acceleration the whole time and then just before impact hit space the launch the I-Beams. This is a little outdated, but still works great. The ship it's on is nothing special. I just sent it for the missiles. Tell me how your new armor fares against this. MWAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Cough. Stereotypical cough. https://www.dropbox.com/s/zcjqowbrpw8e8cm/SC Obliteration.craft?dl=0 @panzer1b

Polar Research Challenge

I guess I’ll go north -
Also yeah the cargo bays are weirdly strong. They don’t have that high of impact tolerance, and considering my torpedo can get going up to 100 m/s in 150 meters, it should easily be able to kill it. I think the panels might actually be acting as a shield. Either way, I could probably kill it with two hits to the same area.

Yeah for such a small torpedo it can pack a punch. You could also test an old but somewhat devastating torpedo I made a while back. It’s like a shotgun missile. It has a bunch of I-beams attaches to a decoupler, and it’s main thrust comes from a vector. Usually shreds stuff, though it’s due makes it somewhat impractical.

Sure. I didn’t get to testing your ship last night and I’m not at my pc rn but I’ll get it to you when I can. EDIT: Okay here is the link. I haven't updated the craft, and the kerbnet update broke it as it's promarily prode controlled. I'll test it on your ship. https://www.dropbox.com/s/nsw8ci586i41u43/SC Void.craft?dl=0

Let me have a shot at it. I have a light ap round that has been tested against heavy armor and usually punches a hole straight through. Usually if it bounces off I can come back for a second hit.

Starter KSC-Island Challenge

Please see above in reference to the monorail. It would just be a rail guided plane, not a rover. I am very picky about what people call things. -

Actually there are no wheels so it wouldn’t be a rover. It would be a rocket propelled sledge held up by a monorail. -

Would it be out of the question to build a very cheap monorail? Not that I could do it. I don’t have the building extender thing. -

What? That’s crazy talk. You need to add a fuel tank too. Then it’s a plane. Also modular grid segments aren’t strong enough to act as skis. Also they are way to bulky. -

Wait.... you don’t start out with any controllable wings or sas modules without upgrading tech... The only way I can think of to make liftoff and landing horizontal would be to use girders as skis, but those aren’t starting tech either. -
It’s not. You have to do some file editing or use a mod
-
Just increase the physics range
-
I actually can’t get it to work. It when I click add the button changes shape but nothing else happens
-
TOO MANY WINGS!!!!
SG Aero replied to rockets-don't-make-toast's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Ummm? Do you mean the most physical wings or just the most wing parts? -
You read fact books while simultaneously hacking a website and playing KSP.
-
Nah. Well just do a orbital strike. Much more precise.
-
Hmmmm.... I smell a dictatorship. I should know, as my goat army is about to conquer North Korea to start one. Also answer the question.
