  1. And they are great for Interstellar missions if you don't want to construct in space or need to send a colony to another system in one go.
  2. Roverdude's Orion is OP enough even with 2.5x scale lol. As for Super Orion, I think there is a mod that adds large Orion drives atleast large for Kerbals, I am not sure where. Though where and how are you gonna launch it without nuking the space center lol the Saturn V wont do it.
  3. Since it's my birthday today I decided to send a cake to the motherCENSORED Moon. First time I noticed the ullage motors separate on the S-IV. Time to light the candles, guess how many. Let's eat hope you all like Red Velvet. Was this an Ego trip? Yes it was but everyone is allowed to do it on their birthday lol.
  4. Airstream is a brand of Travel Trailer. They are widely known as those shiny silver round trailers that look like a silver blimp or as Mr. C on Happy Days referred to an Airstream as the Hindenburg because it resembled that. But yes it is a nod to the grey lol. The lighting makes it look silvery.
  5. I've done it before in 2.5X KSRSS with Apollo era hardware and without cheating. It is hard to do but if you time the alignment of Earth and Venus and have really good skill and or luck you can use Venus as a slingshot back to Earth and use the CSM's engine to reenter.
  6. I decided to do my own take on Artemis 1 while waiting for Saturday's launch using Benjee10's Orion. Launch Vehicle SLSS aka Saturn Launch System Stout. I'm gonna post the rest in Spoilers since I have alot of pictures up this post already lol. Not gonna lie I was playing "Rooster" by Alice in Chains during launch, don't know why lol.
  7. Yes it is. It fits with all the cursed rockets people here including myself has made and shown here lol. That was odd, it posted the replies twice.
  8. I need help for I somehow landed on Venus and got back. Unfortunately I don't have external pics of the launch of Roddenberry but I have some interior pics. Billy Bobfred and Hayski Kerman are back again. Roddenberry docks with Dukat. You know the drill the rest will be in spoilers due to not wanting to fill up space. Bonus science result. I have a question for the Devs of this mod. WHAT THE CENSORED are those Apollo landing legs made out of to withstand and survive Venus? I thought they were just metal wrapped in foil but for some reason they lasted this long. JK.
  9. What I do for unmanned missions is the mod Bargain Rockets has a probe called SMRT which is a smart phone that you can attach it radially and hide it. The ship will operate like there's a crew in it but there isn't a crew though you do need electric charge and signal to use it.
  10. I was planning on to try and land on Vesta and Halley's comet but when I saw Cobaltwolf's images of that plan biome hopper like lander I will wait for that to be released lol, it will be easier to land with that than a Gemini lander. For now I decided to give Mila Viking funeral and try to land on Venus with a Titan Lander and Gemini Phoenix. So far I only have pictures for their names.
  11. That would be cool especially my last probe that used Pioneer 10's HGA was blown up by a ship that looked like a bird.
  12. I know it is possible to use the SRB's from SOCK and Redirect on BDB parts like what I did with the Saturn Launch System.
  13. I decided to keep my current career going for now and decided to go Neptune and it's Moon Triton. Mila with Gemini lander named "Quark" This was fun though also Mila's last mission. I am decommissioning Mila due to it being almost 70 years old plus unlike the Bradbury. Mila wasn't stable when carrying a lander and ship at the same time so the crew transfer ship had to stay in LEO. As for a replacement, might just use Gemini Phoenix class ships.
  14. Maybe when I start a new career with a better Tech tree mod. Though maybe take a little break between KSP Careers.
