  1. I know that, I was just interested to hear why exactly.
  2. Entry burn Landing with an epic view, and good orbit!
  3. Okay, I understand disliking Elon Musk. I also understand disliking SpaceX as a whole. But hate is a strong word, and I don't get outright hating Starship/Superheavy. Should it work on any level (even if it never reaches the Moon or Mars or anything), it's a transformative vehicle - and from what we've seen so far, it looks like they can make it work. So why the hate?
  4. I think when Elon said that they all gimbal together, he simply means that they all gimbal while the outer ring of engines don't. They should still allow roll control.
  5. Well, it did prove that the flip and landing maneuver worked. But in terms of SpaceX's goals for Starship, it was only the first step. So yeah, the first Starship to land on the Moon and return (or something like that) would be a better fit for a museum. But, technically, Saturn V was a tank with a rocket strapped to it as well
  6. ^ This, all SN16 did was sit in the highbay taking up space. SN15 is a slightly better candidate for a museum piece, but it would have the same transportation issues, and seems to be on display at Starbase already anyway.
  7. Just hop it there, land it directly in the museum building /s
  8. Yeah. I always thought SN16 being scrapped was the most likely outcome post-SN15.
  9. Looks like SN16 is heading in the opposite direction to the launch site, most likely to the scrapyard.
  10. Still no aerocovers on the aft flaps. If it's rolling out, it's not happening today.
  11. They simply don't have the capability to rotate Superheavy from vertical to horizontal and back again. It would require a truly monstrous transporter erector.
  12. @magnemoe There's already a thread for Relativity:
  13. More evidence that they are in fact going for the tower catching.
  14. Technically you don't need an account for Imgur, but it's useful if you want to save the link to your screenshots.
  15. Looks like we might still see Starship 39A launches at some point: (That's probably where they'll launch HLS from).
  16. Moving on to the next generation of Kerbal space exploration! Everything here is looking very nice, can't wait to play around with it for real.
