KSP2 Release Notes

Hahah, so true. I remember the first time I started the game I was just like “?!?!?! Guess I will just hit normal difficulty and hope for the best”. I don’t think anyone is arguing for that. They are arguing if it is going to be optional concept or features, then leave it up to modders. As such either implement it fully and properly, or don’t bother at all. That makes sense to me.

Crazy smart is right.

Time delay is annoying. Nah

There will be bugs regardless of whether it is Early Access or not. I would rather they do proper internal QA and release a mostly working game from the get go.
-
Joystick support. I am pretty sure its not "input support", as I am fairly certain Linux can use a keyboard and mouse.

Place your bets! When will KSP2 be released!?

Q4 2020, and that is if things go smoothly. -
Read about the feature. It uses AI to enhance the image based on what it thinks should be there. Obviously not full proof, but as per the image above it helps sharpen numbers and what not.
-
They have full direct access to KSP1 assets.

Apparently Private Division will be at PAX East.

Finally, some news from Star Theory!

I’ve already played KSP1 using traditional engines, in traditional ways. I’m not interested in simply paying for the game a second time to do everything exactly the same way again with prettier graphics. I want new challenges, new problems to solve, new technologies, and new areas to explore. If that requires speculative technology to accomplish, so be it. The goal of the game is to be fun and apply to a wide audience, while giving the player the ability to accidentally learn new concepts. It’s goal is not to provide fan service to our extremely niche community. -
Nice, definitely helps clear up a couple things.

Ya that was it. No other steps required as far as I am aware. Try the image that “The Aziz” posted instead, as it is much better to begin with.
-
Well you are half right so far.

I hope you are right actually. That means they are willing to commit instead of just canning the project, AND before it is too late to fix the problem no less. -
Once again, please provide these sources that prove it “breaks physics”. I have yet to see any. The only thing you have proven is that (what is believed to be) pure metallic hydrogen converts back once the pressure has been lowered in that particular study, in that particular test, in those particular conditions. That is hardly a smoking gun that it is impossible to be created in any fashion what so ever. I agree that creating absolutely perfect theoretical metallic hydrogen is likely impossible, as is engineering *anything* to meet the theoretical limits of anything.

@Dragon01 you assume it’s disproven because it hasn’t been successfully made yet. How does that prove anything? Maybe the pressure has not been high enough yet, maybe it’s only meta-stable at higher than 1 atm pressures but within realistic storage pressures, perhaps its only meta stable when combined with other elements under pressure. Virtually nothing has even been tested yet, yet you claim it has been proven false? Better go tell all those researchers I guess.

My enhance button is not working EDIT: If anyone out there has Pixelmator Pro (MAC only), run it through the resolution upscale feature and see what happens.
