  1. ok, links? I also want to know how to make a biome map and height map for planets aswell.
  2. If anybody knows how to do this, I would really appreciate it.
  3. So, I want to start making planets and planet packs in ksp, but I don't really know how to do it. I currently have this (images below), but I would like someone to help me that knows how to do it with kopernicus. How do I do it?
  4. Does this still work in 1.6.1? And how can I do it myself, do I just need kopernicus and kittopia tech? Where would I put the folder for my planet pack in (is it in the gamedata folder or somewhere else?) @The White Guardian
  5. So yeah I want to make a movie in ksp called 2019: A Jebedian Odyssey and all I have for it so far is the script for the prologue and chapter 1. Tell me what you think and what changes I should make below! PROLOGUE: The Year: 1999 Date: August 5 Location: Kerbal Space Center, At The Launchpad The large rocket stands tall on the pad as a light breeze blows over at the crack of dawn. Jebediah, Bill, and a few other kerbals are preparing to launch on the first mission of Gene's brilliantly named project, The Grand Tour. The mission, which will happen over several launches, with this one, the Munar Minmus Exploration Mission I (or MEM I), will go on a grand tour of the kerbol system. By landing on every planet and moon possible at the end of the mission and returning home to kerbin on the final mission. And, if possible, intersect and refuel at an asteroid or two. The first launch in the mission, MMEM I, will land Jebediah, Bill, and the aforementioned kerbals on The Mun before going and landing on Minmus, and then hopefully succesfully return back to Kerbin. But... Chapter 1: ACT 1 - THE LAUNCH Gene Kerman: T-5 minutes to launch. How's everything going? Jebediah Kerman: Me, Bill, and Bob are good, finished fueling tanks on MMEM I. Gene: T-200 Seconds. Bill, are the fuel cells recharged? Bill Kerman: Yes, its great to be on this mission with you guys. Gene: T-60 seconds. Bob, did you pack the snacks? Bob Kerman: No, but i got TV Dinners! Jeb and Bill: Bob! Ok, TV dinners will do. Good thing we brought some extra heaters. Gene: T-10 seconds. Prepare for liftoff! Jeb: I Can't wait to get this mission started! Gene: T-5,4,3,2,1... We have liftoff! Gene: Looking Good Jebediah Kerman, T+10 seconds. Jeb: I think i can already see space from here. This is great! But... ACT 2 - FLASHBACK 2 Years Earlier: July 4, 1997 Gene: I'm thinking of doing something... Gene: Something Bold... Werhner Von Kerman: Like what? Gene: A new project... better than previous ones... Werhner: Even better than Kerpollo 11 in 1989 and the Koyager Program? Gene: Yes, better than that. Gene: Remember when we launched the koyager 1,2, and 3 missions on a great tour of the eveian, joolian, and dunian systems? Werhner: Yes, i helped design Koyager 2, which flew past the Jool System on June 5, 1993, one year after launch... Gene: Well, i want to do that, but with kerbals and we would land on every planet and moon possible over several launches in the project. Gene: I will call it, the Grand Tour Project! Werhner: Great, we shall begin development immediately! ACT 3 - FROM KERBIN ORBIT Bill: You ever see anything like that before? Jeb: Yes, Bill. It's amazing. Kerbin in all her glory. Gene: Prepare For TMI Jeb: So, i can't wait to get to the Mun, but i'm worried... Bill: Why? Jeb: I think im just being paranoid, but im worried something bad will happen. Bill: Oh, you are just being paranoid, just don't think about it. Jeb: Okay Gene: Start Trans-Munar Injection Burn Now! Bob: I can feel the power of the engine behind us, its amazing! Gene: Ok, burn is complete, see you soon... Jeb: We're off to The Mun, and Kerbin is already getting smaller. Jeb: Mission Control, we will see you again tommorow when are about halfway there, at T+18 hours into mission. Jeb: I just hope my suspicions aren't right... I think this is good so far but if I should change anything tell me below!
  6. Using the new science from around the ksc with a rover I recently got, I have finally finished building Dunpollo IV to complete my first interplanetary mission, Dunpollo! With over 5200 m/s in the atmosphere and over 7000 m/s in space, it should have more than enough delta-v to complete the mission. Here are some images of it! A look at what's inside the fairing, which is the orbiter and lander (since I have docking ports unlocked now) And lastly, Dunpollo IV, waiting to launch on the pad. (Tomorrow I will do the mission and hopefully successfully complete dunpollo!) This is how i'm going to do the mission: 1. Launch into around a 100km kerbin orbit 2. Do Duna Transfer Burn and get altitude down to around 20,000m (so I can aerobrake into a low orbit around duna) 3. Circularize Duna Orbit, and get jeb in the lander, then undock 4. Land on duna, then after landing, the orbiter does an injection burn to ike, and enters a roughly equatorial circular orbit around ike 5. After getting science from duna's surface, lander takes off and enters orbit around duna, then also does an ike injection burn and enters orbit 6. Lander with Jeb rendezvous with orbiter in ike orbit, then refuels 7. After refueling, lander with jeb undocks and lands on ike, then returns to orbit 8. Lander docks with orbiter again, and rest of fuel in lander is transferred to the orbiter. Lander is deorbited and crashes on ike 9. After waiting for transfer window, orbiter does Kerbin Injection Burn to a periapsis around 30,000m above kerbin and escapes duna 10. Orbiter arrives at kerbin, reenters atmosphere, and safely lands on kerbin, where its recovered 11. I use the science from the mission to finish unlocked the current level, then start unlocking the second level 12. Lastly, I decided whether to do Mohopollo or Drespollo next depending on days left to transfer time to each planet. Just wondering, but if I can't transfer the orbiter to ike orbit after the lander lands on duna, then I will just redock with it in duna orbit instead and do the same at ike.
  7. Thanks! Do you have any tips on how to make a good shuttle with lots of maneuverability? I'm trying to make a mk3 shuttle now but everytime I test it it doesn't turn and pitch up easily, usually crashing.
  8. Thanks for these tips! I didn't get KER installed until after the other mods so that's why it wasn't there. Also im planning to make a new shuttle for future missions more based on a real one (mk3 cockpit).
  9. So, I have completed the first shuttle challenge mission, STS-1a! After a successful ascent to orbit, I tried to land on the KSC Runway, I wasn't able too, but I did get close! After watching the video below (in which I did the mission a little different from most people), I can't wait to get awarded the first badge and prepare for the next mission! P.S: I'm also doing the doing the duna insight and kerpollo challenge at the same time, so this isn't the only challenge im trying to complete.
  10. Thanks, just wanted to know before doing that, this is the shuttle I currently have for sts-1a: (Lower Torque is better, right?)
  11. So, I was wondering, does it count if you were to make a shuttle, put it in a fairing, and launch it on top of a rocket, where after reaching above 70,000m the shuttle decouples from the rocket, enters into orbit, and lands itself?
  12. Mid-February Update!

Hello! I'm here with my first February update to show you what I'm currently doing!

    1. Doing The Kerpollo Challenge (1/3 or 3/9 missions done)

    2. I'm also doing the Duna Insight Challenge! (Rank 1 Done With Lowest Delta-V)

    3. And lastly, just yesterday, I started the KSP Shuttle Challenge v5!

So yeah, im pretty busy! If you have any questions, you can ask me below.

    Have fun playing KSP Today!

  13. I accept your STS challenge! I will do videos for every mission, and also these are the mods im using: Texture Replacer Distant Object Enhancement Dark Multiplayer Contract Configuator Edit: I also have Kerbal Engineer Redux Now I hope I will have a great time completing each mission and getting those badges one at a time michal.don!
  14. ok, I want to do the ranks one at a time because im more use to that! I should have rank 2 done by the end of the week.
  15. Thanks for telling me that! Now, after making a new similar rover to the last one, I collected some "touching the building" science, as seen below (it gave me a lot more science!):
  16. Thanks, as for 2, after I ran out of power in the first rover I collected the science and started another rover at the runway. On the way to another building, I went too fast on the ground and the rover rolled over and exploded (that's why at the end there's just the command pod, and the rest of the rover is gone), after that happened I got on eva and collected soil sample from the ksc to finish getting 160 science.
  17. So, while im waiting to do my first interplanetary and docking mission next, I decided to get some science around the ksc first: In what I would call a "pretty cool" rover.
  18. So, I have completed the primary objective, or rank 1! Below is a video showing me doing this, and under that is the total mission stats: Mission Stats (Rocket and Lander): Total Cost - 47,510 Parts - 46 Mass - 51.637 Tons Delta-V (Sea-Level): 3967 m/s Delta-V (Vacuum): 6707 m/s Total Mission Time (Earth Time): 110d, 03:49:39 I think I did pretty good. Rank 2 is next!
  19. As a follow up, here is an image of the Duna Insight I Lander im using to complete the primary objective challenge (Rank 1): These are the lander stats: Cost - 24,510 Parts - 22 Mass - 0.990 tons And it meets all the primary objective (Rank 1) requirements! Video of me launching it and landing it on duna should be out sometime tomorrow, if not, its because im also doing the kerpollo challenge at the same time as this so im pretty busy!
  20. After successfully completing Kerpollo yesterday and Munpollo earlier today, I have now completed Minpollo as well! (With 3/9 Missions Done I've completed 1/3 of the challenge). Here is the Minpollo Video (Which was the first mission I did in the challenge with 2 kerbals, instead of 1 like before): And here is the mission patch, my best one yet! I'm either doing Dunpollo or Drespollo next.
  21. I accept your challenge! I'm going to start with rank 1, then go onwards from that. Expect a video soon!
