  1. Yes that's correct. It's possible Invader intended for some payload to be made for that, not entirely sure, but nothing specific was made so far. In any case its just for players to attach any aft payload that will fit there.
  2. I presume you mean RS-56 OSA as OBA is the booster engine. I think when we last checked either the OSA had the exact same stats as the final LR105 branded engine or possibly so close we didnt bother (1 or 2 seconds maybe). I'll have to double check. I suppose there is no harm adding the subtype if its the later case, back then (around the Titan update), we were more reluctant to add minor subtypes as we were just getting our heads around B9 module switching.
  3. S2 sized inline docking port for more orbital assembly stuff. On github now. There is a also a new variant of the 6.25 to 3.75 (M-1) engine mount with a 1.25m plate that should look nicer when used with the NERVA II. its worth adding that you should probably add the S1C low profile docking port between the port and the SII interstage (typically in the shortest length) so you can jettison it when you need to run the engine. Loosely inspired by
  4. Block III and IV specifically use batteries instead of fuel cells which is why they dont get them. Block V with solar panels is what you use for long duration missions.
  5. Distant Object Enhancement mod. If you go to the settings, you can turn on Dynamic Sky Dimming (should be on by default) and set the slider for Maximum Sky Brightness all the way to 0. If you leave it above zero, it will try to make the stars disappear when looking at a planet etc but show them when you look away. At 0% the sky will always be black
  6. MB60 is now on github. This was a proposal for future Delta IV and H2A upgrades and briefly was considered for SLS' EUS (in a 2x form) The engine is an expander bleed design with additional boost pumps for high chamber pressure. The bleed exhaust is injected in the nozzle extension for film cooling which recovers some Isp from the open cycle. Pictured here on an improved Delta IV heavy with regen RS68 engines. The film cooling also allows the use of a simple sheet metal nozzle extension. Mitsubishi stated 467s Isp ( maybe optimistic?), the name is from the 60k lbf thrust target. There was also a smaller MB-35 variant not modelled here. An RL10B2 makes 24.7k lbf. 2x MB60 was considered for EUS for a short while. 2 would produce more thrust than 4x RL10s.
  7. ah I thought the craft was non functional rather than not loading. If you pop the longitude of the ascension node into LAN, that should be enough I think? MNA is your position along that orbit. Dunno what OBT is.
  8. instead of setting orbit to a body, just set to the target craft and cheat rendezvous to a perfect match.
  9. No official craft files since things are changing a lot. A pre-release build guide will appear in Friznits wiki issues section soon. In the meantime: The baseline mission would only have the original Planetary scan platform for orbital science with the mesh type high gain dish. Upgraded missions would use the fold under XL dish, and the upgraded scan platform. Extra instruments go here: There are 3x MM impact experiments so just place them wherever you like roughly evenly spaced Lander: Better guides will come but hope this helps for now.
  10. Yeah I reduced the amount of default ablator becuase a) the amount required for Mars/Duna is very low even at 2.7x b) ablator is very heavy and the deorbit motor is quite anemic as it is That said the max ablator amount should be reasonable for a shield of its compared to stock parts I guess and can be increased.
  11. I feel like I've done multi docking with the MOL parts (dual keel MOL stuff I think). Needs to be very exact but thats what these parts are for. Best I remember all the ports did dock (not just physically line up and not actually dock).
  12. Some of the names and tags werent correct in the initial commit. Voyager or "Nomad" should bring up everything related now.
  13. The camera transforms exist if someone wants to write the configs. Would be a while before I get to it myself possibly. (cameraTransform) if anyone is interested the orbital scan platform would have a narrow field of view and the lander camera should be wide
  14. It’s not an animated door anymore it’s a jettisonable part. There is a button in the part action window. I forget what it’s labelled but it might be shielding On/Off or something like that. It now features a historically accurate Sim bay layout.
  15. Voyager Mars in up on the dev branch for testing! Its still very much alpha. The lander might switch to all monoprop for one thing.
  16. I think this is unlikely. I think you could kitbash something with some creativity using the Venus Flyby module though. uh will check on that
  17. I dont know what the cause is, I saw this B9 error on one my older craft files but not in others and not when a fresh CSM is placed in the VAB. Are you getting this with every CSM or specific saved craft? If its the later just suggest updating those saved craft with a new CSM part from the VAB part picker. The crash and the log needs some more investigation, will get back to you. (theres a large amount of log spam, that I think might be related to one of Benjees mods)
  18. Probably. Its likely Reviva adds its own IVA and uses the old model. On the subject of (real) Nova, at the very least we have one of the engines already
  19. Atlas works quite well with PVG guidance in my experience. In fact I believe the original implementation of PVG in mechjeb was based on Atlas Centaur algorithms.
  20. I think that biconic fairing had a standard length. looks similar to the one used for many classified missions including the 33B/34B missions. It always looks the same length to me unlike the Titan III standard fairing which was height adjustable. Not that I've done pixel measurements or anything. https://www.ulalaunch.com/docs/default-source/rockets/delta-iv-user's-guide.pdf https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0094576505001050
