  1. Hmm, sounds like a few companies are interested in this.
  2. Still, producing 1 kg of fuel on the moon means saving a bunch of fuel required for transportation.
  3. Rockets dont work that way. They heat up fuel by burning it so that the velocity of particles are high. That becomes the thrust. By some high school physics, Velocity of a gas molecule = square root of 3/2RT, where R is a constant, Na is avogardo constant, and T is temperature. Or V square is proportional to T. Now momentum is mv, so you get where this is going. Higher mass also means more attractive forces between molecules, so it wont heat up that much. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
  4. Most real life rockets have valves that control fuel flow. But too litte and stuff goes boom. So no 1% thrust limiter. For SRBs, there are stuff about shaping the fuel and controlling the thrust. I wish I could do that in ksp.
  5. You dont. You use eletrolysis. Or use Na3AlF6 to reduce its melting point. Or use displacement reaction. No sieve is strong and small enough to extract aluminium. But after extraction, sonic, quick cooling or other stuff can be used to make nanoaluminium.
  6. I think the AI does not care about the weapons placement and just fire when an enemy is in range and may be hit by the weapon.
  7. Ah thanks. So will the devs make it more accurate in atmo landing? For first stage landing mechjeb is good enough, but not for orbit landing.
  8. Well, do I have to delete the ROcfg if I don't use RO?
  9. Oh well, my interceptor uses 18 vulcan turrets. Challenge unable to accept. I assume you should pm the dev team for answers then.
  10. The words of the GUI is not aligned. Also, the internal seats are gone.
  11. Yes. Provided there is a piece of flat land, bfr can land anywhere. So technically it can land on calm waters. Or use the Just Read The Instructions. lol
  12. So, in conclusion, if you make your guns not point straight ahead and straight at the back, you only have half the firepower if you are lucky.
  13. Ah, I see what you guys mean. About that, I will suggest spaceX to use solid rocket boosters instead of vacuum engines for earth to earth transport. Anything goes wrong, BOOM and everyone escapes.
  14. Well, no. I mounted gau 8 on the side of my fighters. Nothing hapened. For overshoulder guns, use vulcan turrets. I have an interceptor designed to gun down anything. You might wanna take a look at it.
  15. Yeah, about that, none of the planes are in a stall while landing/docking
  16. Sounds dangerous to me. Probably gonna stick to the dragon capsule.
  17. Cant wait for experimental versions of this.
  18. If you are doing weather, add ocean currents.
  19. It aims at the predicted point of the craft. Basically, to avoid anti aircraft fire, dont fly straight. The flying AI will make small turns to point the guns at the target.
