Holy [snip by me] we can create so much chaos! Imagine all the "landers" clogging up the game! Still, if my orbital colony gets this, some asteroids, some resource gathering and refining probes, and a powerful engine... -

Nothing is stopping you. That is the beauty of KSP. If you have an orbital VAB attached to resource miners attached to asteroids and a Orion drive, you can spew out landers everywhere. -
And please add a science biome to the rings. Someone WILL turn those rocks into ones with meshes just for fun.

Maybe dust, but definitely not rocks. It will be too hard to avoid high speed crashing.

Maybe a system where all resources are available, but with various concentrations at various points? I.e. a spot rich in metals will be poor on fuel, and Dres with its share of Nuclear fuel does not have a lot of Snacks. Yet, you can always mine all 5 resources anywhere, they challenge is that some concentrations are low, prompting hardworking people to set up various colonies and transfer resources between, but lazy people can set up 1 and timewrap. Then you can do whatever you want at a single colony, and not risk catastrophic failure.

ClF3 WILL kill of every kerbal that breathes in its vicinity, or stand in its vicinity. It will also corrode every building in its sight. No. Please don't add it as a stock fuel. But I am totally fine with it as a mod. -

Saturn 5 payload to LEO is way over 100 tonnes. I agree that bases need more care, so instead of nerfing engines, create heavy base modules.

IRL rockets can lift 100 tonnes easily. If you do not like this, just use a smaller rocket.

This looks very complicated for new players, or even for veteran players. Perhaps some should only be used for late game.
