ummmm i think you talk about KIS, but it is possible only in atmosphere and in EVA. Now we have for this a great 1.6 (1.5???) KSP version -

TWR will not do so, the engines indeed do but unless the engines on break the power should (must) be enough to move the ship- 12 replies

might sound bizzare, but the thrust gets blocked by the thing that holds the engines, try moving them a little farther away from the craft.- 12 replies
