  1. spent last 15 minutes running virus checks came >< that close to deleteing the user account ksp runs in, and re-installing from scratch
  2. That is a two stage rocket. The jet enginer got "staged" by being destroyed by the rocket engine /pedant mode = off
  3. Thanks for another great mod suggestion - I tried another launch and the manouver nodes were available !
  4. I finally made it into orbit [1] I have L2 misson control and tracking station, but I could not get any manouver nodes what else do I need? (I have also got FAR installed as well) [1: I actually ended with 3000 m/s spare - and only using smart ASS got a lunar orbit and landing ]
  5. Interesting Mod - my first time with custom tech trees. The "remove unused tech tree node" mod seems a good "recommends" to this mod.
  6. Many thanks for a great mod . A feature request - is there somewhere I could select, that would supress the listing of all craft that had locked parts? (when starting a new career game most of my old standard craft from other games are not yet buildable)
  7. it was there for me as latest version as well, but ckan would not update from the ksp- version until I had nuked it from the cache
  8. uninstalling, clearing cache, and re-installing got me up to latest via ckan (from the ksp- backport version)
  9. I use a simple "type-capacity-destination" scheme, so I can remember the mission it is running as mission sometimes take over a month in RL time. e.g. ore-2500-duna-ike, tour-30-minmus, rescue-1-ker, etc.
  10. Minor observation - MJ's Delta V stat window seems a bit confused by the Thunderbird - or does it not like planes at all? KSP say 19.4 K sec of fuel, 83 K dV MJ says 43 days of fuel, 3.4 M dV Delta V displays
  11. Thanks for that update. My startup time dropped by approx 50% - the massive delay at "loading asset bundle defintions" has gone.
  12. I have noticed somthing weird with the map screens after the latest update. The arrows for zoominging to ap/per/soi are in the wrong place, and they move as the screen is zoomed in and out. see screenshots below. zoombug1 zoombug2 I am running at minimum UI zoom level

(sorry for late reply - crappy week at work and home) No idea on why, but problem now academic - KSP wiped out all my active contracts after I hit the revert to launchpad button , and then hid all spacestations in map views. I feel a re-install coming on in the future ... Thanks for the Manevuer queue tip

(trying to get to Duna again) warp 2 years till window opens engine "burps" for fraction of a second, manover node disappears Astogator says "try again in another 2 years" screenshots instantaneous launch windows to other planets should not be a thing. I have a "fleet" of 6 launches to send on different missions to Duna in near future - will go back to MJ for them.

  21. The Launcher used to work when I originally installed KSP. It stopped working at approx the same time that I Installed the MechJeb mod (from Ckan) - could just be co-incidence. I went back to my original zip file, unpacked it to a new directory, and ran the launcher from there - with the same result. I tried run-as-administrator, and that did not help either
