apparently a fire at nature reserve next to pad due to burning debris. that's amazing it's a swamp. starhopper is already destroying the vegetation so it will be easyer to build a proper spaceport there. -

KSP inspired me to design a liquid-fueled rocket engine
Flying dutchman replied to ap0r's topic in Science & Spaceflight
That would give you an isp of 173 seconds, not too bad for something that you build yourself. -
please make it so that we can asign a hinge as an airbrake or control surface, and let that be controlled bij sas. would really help keeping my starship under controll.

SSTO to Duna (no mining)
Flying dutchman replied to Reinhart Mk.1's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Yeah thats why i said that I mean you could easily launch or use an existing fuel depot in orbit and under the current rules it would still qualify but be completely out of the spirit of this challenge. -
SSTO to Duna (no mining)
Flying dutchman replied to Reinhart Mk.1's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
So, no mining? A fuel depot in low duna orbit should do. -

Can i use a tail rotor? -
After a lot of blood sweat and tears i finally have my crew rover and return rocket next to each other on the surface of eve. The kerbals have to climb a ladder to get on the bed of the rover to board it. The first kerbal worked just fine. I pressed f to climb on the bed and all was well. But when the second one tried this pressing f did nothing. It still said "press f to climb out" but pressing f dit absolutely nothing at all.. What do i do?

I've already gone 130ms in level flight. I just put a rotor on top of a rotor to double the rpm and then do the same at the back of the craft but spinning the other way, think dornier 235.
