    Don't try to use parachutes on the mun. But on a serious note. Don't compare your own achievements to those who have played this game for a long time (scott manley bradley whistance etc)

    Thanks! The bearing itself is fine though, it's like the fairing just stops it rotating..

    As the title says when i put the fairing on the front of the engine the engine won't rotate. When i put it on the back it explodes as soon as i stage to start the engine. Tried it without blades and that made no difference as soon as i deploy the fairing the engine rotates freely again.

    Could you please tell me what mod you are using for the clear windows?? I have been looking for that mod for ages now..

    So you mean orbital or just in to space?

    I'm just happy this happened on the ground. But i trust they can fix it.

    Will give this a go. Don't expect much because my engines are generally unreliable and have never reached more than 110 m/s. The relatively simple stayputnik structural fuselage thermometer bearings that i make will often behave in unpredictable ways....

    Well you could make it harder like this: For ascent from kerbin you can only use poodles or other purely vacuum optimized engines. Then for the rest of the mission from lko to mun and minmus you have to use monoprop engines and the pod must be a mk3 cockpit. Just a thought..

    @Pds314 i once glided from the mountains all the way past the ksc to the island runway so this "should" be easy. But ksp can be a cruel mistress..

    I think i'll go huge like i always do @Pds314 i think two is the minimum. I would try to make a glider. You boost it up with the flee ( if you can get maybe 1500m that wil be enough) return should be even easyer since by then you wil have decoupled one engine.

    Very impressed!! But to be fair, the first mass produced 4 wheel drive car was the willy's jeep. Nice lada though!
