  1. Today, well yesterday I started a new "lightly" moded career save: Mod list: The first launch is basically farming science on the pad, so nothing very interesting. The first real launch is Cook-1: The second launch takes Val to orbit:
  2. Weird, in my experience >x2 warp only stops the plumes from showing, you should check in the PAW if the engine produces any thrust
  3. All is good that finishes good!(Tout est bien qui finit bien) as we Frogs say
  4. @Dafni I am really sad to say this but @Nigel J. Cardozo is right, if @Yeet_TheDinosaur's parents come to know about this it will be worse, they will probably be even more wary of video games
  5. I was in the same situation as you @Yeet_TheDinosaur, I can understand So I guess you can count me in on the gift @Dafni
  6. Today I started a new career, Mod list : The program started with the launch of Billy-I (a reference to Bill Pickering ): The program continued with the launch of Billy-II:
  7. Well ... it sticks out But ... it's kinda Kerbal But ... it could be better Anyway ... lets be happy...
  8. Just to clarify my point in that discussion, I think that Squad is a great developer. However I also think that it would take minimal effort to integrate the terrain scatterers in the vanilla game, and it would make a great difference ! BTW I love your planes @Klapaucius
  9. No no no, it's this kind of train: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHkKJfcBXcw
  10. Chapter 2:The corner shop “Derbus? ,asked Seedun -Yes -You know that space thingy? -Being the next Kerbal to orbit and all that? -Yes, well it’s kinda grown on me! -Seriously, -No, I’m serious. Come on think about all the designing you would have to do! -Well,I guess we could. -Oh thank you, thank you, thank you! Come on guys, lets go! -But first to the bank! -Why? -Beacause rockets ain’t cheap!” However when they arrived at the bank they had tons of problems to get a grant. You see the banker said that if he was to give them a grant he needed the proof that at least two of them have a revenue source: “So who has a revenue source here?” questioned the banker “Derbus, what’s a revenue source?” : asked Seedun “What do I know, ask him...” : replied Derbus, designating the broker “A revenue source is a thing that makes you gain funds;” explained the money dealer “What are funds ?” : asked Chadus “Money, kerbucks, kollars,…” said Seedun “Hey I win money some how, I think?” realized Chadus “Ah, well we have half of our revenue sources!” exclaimed the banker “But hey,I do two, I work in aircraft design” remembered Derbus “So do I, I’m a airline pilot!” yelled Seedun, not wanting to be left out “Euf” sighed the financier “Here’s your grant;” he continued, swearing to him self that he would never take a plane again. Ten minutes later Seedun, Derbus and Chadus were at the corner shop buying fireworks: “One hundred fireworks, please.”Seedun asked “Thats right!” Confirmed Derbus “Actually thats more like 987650 standard fare fireworks” corrected Chadus “What do ya mean, 987650 fireworks?” asked Seedun “Well to haul a 93.75 Kilos to a 80*80 orbit you would need 987650 standard fare fireworks -Chadus, were not sending any one to orbit with fireworks, especially not on the first flight! -Oh, said Chadus” visibly sadened “So it will be one hundred fireworks, then?” asked the shopkeeper who was also saddened “Yes, it will, replied Derbus” After returning home it was time for our friends favorite show: “Space, a Retrospective” “The year is **09. On D23 the first the first satellite was launched by Austra on a “Prince Wilhelm-III” rocket. The Trogo-socialisk republic tried to imitate this exploit on Scl-1 mission, however due to a failure on the rocket’s uperstage, the mission was lost. The Nez space agency were the second to place a satellite in orbit with they're EOS-1 mission. The next great mile stone was a manned orbiter, which was achieved by the Trogo-socialisk republic, with the Kamet(trad:Manned)-1 on which Youri Kerman completed 2 orbits before reentering, twelve months later Valentina Kerman stayed in orbit for five days before landing back at Kerbin. A military turn it the Austran space program didn’t stop it from innovating: the Rarch-VI missile was way more powerful than any rocket before it. However the Austran space program was soon to end: on D127 Y**09 the Trogo-socialisk republic invaded Hunger (not that that made much difference) and continued in to Austra. To try to stop the invasion the aforementioned Rarch missile was shot at the enemy. After resisting for three months the last remnants of the old Trans-Kaucasian aristocracy in exile in Austra where all executed. The Peoples Monarchy Of The Desert seeing the invasion of Austra decided to boost up its space efforts and begun developing whole range of intercontinental missiles. Tune in tomorrow for the next episode of “Space, a Retrospective” it’s half past 6 and you are listening to Kerbin International Radio-click-”
  11. @Snark , the surface of planets in KSP is boring, we can agree on that right? So if we have more anomalies on them, they will be more interesting, right? Also it works a bit like a appetizer you give people a bit of your product, so they come back to buy the whole thing!(demos work like that to)
  12. @Nigel Cardozo (sorry I actually forgot to tag you) Which is exactly what I said:
  13. I don't really understand your point here, maybe you would care to explain?
  14. I can't stress how much I agree with @Gameslinx ,if the terrain scatterers are not in the stock game I won't buy the DLC, and I think that many community members agree. So @SQUAD , think about it!
  15. HYPE TRAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I was going to buy MH but now this is out looks like I won't)
  16. A few boosters short of a rocket; a KSP story Many thanks to my Sensai, @Just Jim who gave me advice on my writing Chapter 1:The title is a lie “It is 6pm and you are listening to Kerbin International Radio. Right now our documentary series: “Space, a Retrospective”. The year is **07. Revolution is brewing in the Trans-Kaucasian Empire, two months of intense social struggles culminate in the deaths of the Kaiser and his wife while they were inaugurating the new rail road line between Baikerbanur and the Dessert Launch Complex. After his the regency was overthrown, the different ethnic groups separated into new nations: In the military stale mate that ensued the new nations engaged in a brutal arms race,a space race in fact!Nez had been trying to launch rockets for years, how ever Austra and the Trogo-socialisk republic made quick progress in space flight and caught up rapidly with the Nez space program. The peoples monarchy of the dessert didn’t start up it’s program at the same time as the others and even after it was created it focused primarily on military applications. Norland didn’t join in the space race as it focused primarily on its project of exploring the Arctic. Tune in tomorrow for the next episode of “Space, a Retrospective” it’s half past 6 and you are listening to Kerbin International Radio” Derbus immediately turned of the radio, after that program there was some stupid girly fiction. “Who wants to listen to that ?” He asked him self. His little introspection moment didn’t last long: “Geez you need to stop making so much noise Chadus, when we listen to the radio.” yelled Seedun “But, but, I’m wasn’t even moving.” replied Chadus, his eyes watering “Shut up!both of you!” ordered Derbus -Sorry Derbus, I shouldn't have yelled at Chadus -Forget it.” weeped Chadus Derbus was used to the young pilot’s bickering, however he found it unfair that Seedun picked only on his brother, Chadus, and never on him. Some time later: “It’s is 9pm and you are listening to Kerbin International Radio. Right now the News: Today the Deepwater probe has arrived at Laythe. It’s primary objective is to study Laythe’s oceans. On the fiftieth anniversary of the last kerballed space flight Nez space agency has a large amount of pressure to show that it can still be at the tip of research. On a sadder not-“Hey Derbus wouldn't you like to be the first kerbal to orbit the kerbin since like **57?, asked Seedun - I get it that you would like it! -No seriously, if we could get our hands on some hefty fire crackers we could push some thing on a suborbital trajectory! -Some very hefty fire crakers then.”
