I plant a flag on top of your flag, and another flag on top of that, and sit at the top. My precarious tower of flagpoles.
-
I may have to steal that cockpit.

Thanks for the compliment @JadeOfMaar! Here are some more pages for your enjoyment. I'm planning on attempting a segment of mission every other day, and writing it up the day after that, but I will probably fail at some point due to my addiction to creating new SSTOs. Tune in next time for some rescue missions and/or some form of orbital fuel depot! It's going to be in an equatorial orbit to make Iota transfers easier.

So instead of doing a plane change every launch, you just do it going munar? Makes sense, munar craft need more dV anyway.
-
Gordon's alive!
-
Since you have Woomerang as your launch site, are you going to do a plane change every orbit? Or are you going to wait until Woomerang is under Terra Station and launch then?

The [F4] key shows boxes around the control point of your target only at distances larger than 150m. Back off a little bit, and the purple box will appear. Double-click it to set it as your target and it will go green. Then it will show up as close as you go.

Voyage - The Final Warning (Chapters 34-36 And Epilogues)
fulgur replied to Ultimate Steve's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Another amazing chapter. *notification sound* Fulgur likes a post in Voyager: The Final Warning. -
@NHunter: That's odd; the official GPP dV map says only two thousand-odd. Although it does have 1.4ATM at sea level. I think one needs more aerodynamic landers. Actually, an aerospike-powered plane (you can get over 3000m/s dV from one aerospike alone) might work on Tarsiss's low gravity.

1. *Like* 2. If 3/4 of a tank = 5 minutes, then 1 tank = about 7 minutes. 90 minutes / 7 = 12 gas station stops. Assuming each station ha a delay of only 5 minutes, the journey is lengthened by 60 minutes = 1 hour. That means that 2/5 of the journey is waiting at gas stations. Also assuming that each station costs $10, that is $120 down the gold plated fish-tank chandelier drain. 3. In consequence, Gene needs to buy a better car than Edsel has.

Backstory I started a mission report a few months back. I liked sharing my missions and people liked reading them. But then my computer died and for a while I couldn't recover the data. And during that period of time, I started playing @Galileo's Planet Pack. And I love it. So I've discontinued my initial save, even if I may recover the data someday (TM), and started another save. Boring! Do you have anything else to say? I am playing on Moderate mode, but I have increased the science! returns so that I can do whatever I want as soon as I want. Moderate mode means that I have to pay to unlock new parts. Still boring! How about a modlist? I have: This continues to be boring! A chapter list? I only have 1 chapter at the moment, but... Chapter 1 started with this post. Still quite boring! Some launch scripts? Here's my Google Drive. But there are no ships to launch them with! Fine! Here are the first pages of Starwind (in GPP): The Ceti Campaign Oh yes, I kept the Original Four Gaelans and added the Original Four Kermen. So I have Eight. Tune in next time for Val making orbit, and an Iota flyby!

Because I like GPP so much, I am ending this mission report For Now (TM). Even if I can recover my data, I am playing in GPP now. And I will do something cool in it if it kills me. Wait, no, if it kills my computer. It crashes occasionally when going into map mode, but I deleted Scatterer and that helped. I am currently exploring GPP on Easy Science mode, but tomorrow (or earlier) I'm going to start a new thread. Oh, and I've got a good in-story reason why they were moved out of the Kerbol system.

I would give these a like, but the like button is broken.

1. Is this dead? I wanted to join. 2. I believe you can check what license most mods are given. Many allow you to share them indiscriminately, so you should be able to do that for many of them.

I can confirm that they have not been nerfed. I believe it is likely that you are pitched up too much. If you pitch close to 0 degrees and get past 400m/s you will begin to increase thrust and speed. Make a single-RAPIER plane out of a shock cone intake, a FLT-800 and a cockpit and pitch close to the horizon. I guarantee that you will get past 400m/s. If you could show us a picture of the plane we could diagnose problems with it. EDIT: Yes, @AHHans below has got my point exactly.

Help And Tips for a Mission to Duna
fulgur replied to SomeDudePlayingKsp's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Check out a dV map when playing KSP - there's a mod which adds one to the KSPedia. Also, use Transfer Window Planner and Kerbal Alarm Clock (both by TriggerAu) to find out when you need the least dV to get to a planet. Timewarp to the window and launch all your ships, then create maneuver nodes and fiddle until you get a low Periapsis. It should take somewhere in the region of 950 + 130 + 250 + 360 = about 1700m/s to get to Duna orbit. You will need more than that to get home of course and you can use Ike flybys to decrease insertion dV. -
1. *notification sound* Fulgur liked a post in a topic WDYDIKSPT. 2. How hard is it to get off Tarsiss? It has a 'Kerbin' class atmosphere without oxygen and a surface pressure of 1.4ATM.
-
I have been to Moho once. I have been to Gilly and landed a BG Science! plane on Eve. I have been to the Mun and Minmus, I once colonised Duna. I have been to Dres and gathered ore from asteroids and I have been to Jool and all of its moons. I have not yet been to Eeloo because it's boring, although I went to Sarnus once.
-
Just did a biome-hopping Duna mission in science mode. Then I got back to LKO and realised that I had neither docking ports on the vessel nor the Klaw unlocked. I had to spend a frustrating ten minutes ferrying Bob around my lander to get out all the Science! and then getting into a KV-3 Pomegranate re-entry module which didn't have reaction wheels. Plus, I accidentally gave myself [ALT+E] persistent rotation.

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
fulgur replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
It's not Sorry to bother you, but does this mean that GPP will break completely and utterly if I have BG installed, or merely that you have no deployed science definitions? Because I would really like to try out this, and I can do without deployed science and surface features, but I really like the robotic parts and especially the propellors.- 7,371 replies

Oh yes, I get something like that sometimes. Not sure if it's Scatterer or EVE. I like your signature, by the way. I'm not sure but I think that truss is from SSPXr
