Oh... now I'm almost out of my wits. The very same installation you used earlier, no changes (updates, mods, ...), right? Either try to delete and recreate the node, what @FruitGoose suggested. Or, if that doesn't work, we'll have to go deeper to try to analyze this, for that we'll need log files, see here
-
Hmm... are you playing directly via Steam, i.e. your active KSP installation is in the \Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program folder? If yes, Steam probably did an auto update and with that, ruined your KSP installation. Solution in that case: revert to the KSP version you had when playing last time. Never play KSP directly from the Steam folder and have Steam running. Instead, copy your KSP folder to a location outside any "special folder (like C:\Program Files (x86)", and only play from there. The three rules when working with computers: 1. Always have a backup copy. 2. Always have a backup copy. 3. And most important rule: always have a backup copy.

Yepp, I know It's called Nyan cat, an easter egg / April's fool by sarbian (author of Module Manager, Mechjeb, and other mods). Enjoy the colors

Recover Vessel button not working
VoidSquid replied to Kerbal Productions's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
@Kerbal ProductionsUpvoted, liked, as I'm not the OP that's all I can do here @Gargamel cheated -
I remember seeing the Mun Moon landing, Skylab, Mir, ... I'm old EDIT: ooops... you know you play too much KSP when you write Mun instead of Moon, thanks @DDE for the hint!
-
Following basically this tutorial here https://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Tutorial:Setting_up_a_CommNet_system#Jool_system 3 x3 = 9 for Jool, each moon 5x3=15, makes 24. Then each moon with 4 ScanSats (visual, radar low, radar high, resource, biome; combined into 4 satellites for each) = 20 Total 44 satellites then. Ok, I admit, needed a little break from that, did a Mun landing and Eve science contract in between. EDIT: All right, brought at least a couple of the carrier rockets to the target orbits. ToDo: bring the other rockets into target orbits. That done, start deploying the individual satellites. That will take some time...

Almost How about...say... @The Doodling Astronaut then?

[1.12.x] Minimum Ambient Lighting Updated
VoidSquid replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
You're welcome, happy to help -
After procrastinating not for days but weeks (well, ok, I did clean up my KSP installation from garbage, which took some time), I finally started with the boring task to flood the Jool system with satellites: 24 relay satellites plus 20 ScanSat satellites. Deploying 44 satellites, if boring has any meaning, it's this. And it's not finished yet, to the contrary, sigh...

Recover Vessel button not working
VoidSquid replied to Kerbal Productions's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Have seem something similar today again while helping a beginner on Twitch, it seems sometimes landed vessels are not properly flagged as landed. And if I remember correctly, I also have seen some post regarding this recently. -
[1.12.x] Minimum Ambient Lighting Updated
VoidSquid replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Works fine here. Version info for KSP hasn't updated yet (max.: 1.9.1), so you might need to tell CKAN to show mods for older KSP versions. -
Sandbox Science configuration question
VoidSquid replied to jbdenney's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Hmm... why not starting a Science game and cheat yourself (Mod + F12) exactly the amount of science points you need / want? -
Sorry not to have better news, but when it's gone, it's gone. Theoretically you could be lucky if you have a VSS snapshot containing the missing file, give it a try, sure, but that's probably a wide shot. I can only give you some recommendations to avoid such situations in the future, namely: Do regular backups of your KSP installations, in particular before changing anything substantial (e.g. updating a mod). Keep dated backups (e.g. "KSP 2021 January", "KSP 2021 February"). Do frequent backups of your save games folder, I make those every time before starting KSP.

MechJeb and RCS efficiency
VoidSquid replied to chd's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
This can be automated by this community MM patch written by @Snark // Configure RCS to Translate Only by Default // Author: Snark @PART[*]:HAS[@MODULE[ModuleRCSFX]] { @MODULE[ModuleRCSFX] { %enableYaw = false %enablePitch = false %enableRoll = false } } -
MechJeb and RCS efficiency

Try out the DPAI mod and you'll be amazed how fast and easy you can do docking. -
Rover Repair Mission Not Completing.
VoidSquid replied to Overheal's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
With all due respect, but I find it hard to believe that this mod, which has been used without problems for years by 1000s of players, would break your game. -
Rover Repair Mission Not Completing.
VoidSquid replied to Overheal's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
This mod can show you the waypoints in flight view, not only in map view like in stock KSP. You could check if the waypoint is below ground. -

Mars Rover Perseverance Discussion Thread
VoidSquid replied to cubinator's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Haven't thoroughly searched, I admit, but do you know how far from the planned landing spot they actually got? Just curious. Bet thy did better than me, last Duna landing about 350m from the targeted spot, and with KSP having scaled down 1:10, that would be 3.5km -
