Why is that? Ad Astra is really more of a story telling save, it’s intended for entertainment over ‘actually’ playing ksp. That’s why so many of the rockets are over built. They are intended to look nicer, with actual functionality is put to the side. (And yes...they have much mire deltav then is needed. I have reasons for this) And I don’t upload nearly enough. There are ‘gaps’ in the uploads...I have done loads of ‘maintenance’ on the save. (Mostly relay sats, that I will use to gather little bits of science)

It’s science, actually. I prefer career, but it really is a grind fest.

Oh. My. Goodness. This is amazing!!! And so beautiful! Will there be any harmful effects to the kerbals from exposure to the reactors, like they won’t be as productive?

@Spaceman.SpiffThanks! I'm going to give this a whirl, I think it should work. For moving the folder, would it just be taking the steamapps/common/kerbal space program and moving that somewhere else?

Hi all- I’ve been wanting to try out ksp 1.11, and mod it with CKAN. However. I have no idea how to create a new instance for it without getting rid of my 1.9 save. (Ea. Uninstalling 1.9 then installing 1.11) I use Steam for ksp, if that helps. Can anyone help? Cheers! -Lewie

Yessire! (Venting air as RCS? Mm.....pretty interesting idea! Maybe liquid fuel or oxidizer could be used for this purpose, also. Not a bi-propellent thruster like the vernor, but it could be toggled to use liquid fuel or oxidizer) And adding fuel hoses would be pretty nice, and would really be the icing on the cake. The inventory system feels kinda empty without something of the like....but I do use kas, so that must be why.

If you're ok with mods, a couple tweak scaled Vernors should work....I assume you're talking about the skydiver/belly flop?

Huh...me and some friends are planning on making a multi-staged model rocket. Heh. Solid rocket fuel is so easy to make, it's like 'why not?' Also, NYLT? Nice! I went to that two summers ago...back in the 'Before times' And....I talked to Rebekah today!! I got to school at 8...first period starts at 08:20, so I tend to go hang out in the school foyer and talk with my friends. On the way there, I saw Rebekah and Sadie (another friend of mine from middle school) walking down the hall. Sadie left to get to her first period class, and Rebekah turned around. I tapped her on the shoulder (that's the right etiquette, right?) and signed hi. She smiled, and signed it back. I proceeded to sign 'I am learning sign language'....which got a pretty big smile from her! We made some small talk (how is your day going and the like) before I signed I had to go, and to take care. SO. DANG. TERRYIFYING! I've always been rubbish at talking to girls....and trying to remember the right order/ASL grammar (and signs, of course) was turning out to be quite tricky, so that really didn't help. I had a HUGE smile the entire time (thank goodness we were wearing masks, I must've looked like a fool...it was the biggest, happiest, dopiest smile ever!) Anywhos, there's more to the story, but this is as much as I will say. It was really amazing....I've known her for little over a year now, and this was really our first 'conversation' (we had a couple classes together last year, and those were a bit rough. Darci (the lady that interprets for her) really had to help us out....this was just mind blowing to me! So easy to finally be able to talk to her...I can't really say how it feels! Anywho, enough of my joyous ramble....Cheers! -Lewie

Sorry Mike! With semester testing and all, I have been on the forums nearly as much. I’ll be hanging around more.... also, the power went down at my school! So I’m just hanging around, really.

Nice! Thanks for the laugh! This post here made my day. Also.....wasn’t able to talk to Rebekah today. Only passed her in the hall from gym to lunch. Will have to try again tomorrow. EDIT: Due to the power outage in my school today, the schedules were a bit wacked up (going to/from classes, that is) so didn't get a chance to talk to her today. For the last few weeks, I’ve been learning ASL......so hopefully I’ll see Rebekah tomorrow and we can communicate efficiently with each other for the first time! Kinda nervous, not going to lie...but really excited! I’ll write a post tomorrow dedicated to how that went.

To begin base-building efforts on Resola, the Kerbals have sent Zastava 2 to the surface...this is by far one of the most ambitious missions the space program has presented yet. LAUNCH!! Gravity turn initiated Booster burnout, separation is a go! Separation confirmed! Things are getting a little toasty up there! Zastava 2 has cleared the Karman line, and is coasting to apoapsis . Orbital insertion is go! Orbit is looking good, burning for Resola Entering Resola's SOI Burning to enter LRO Kerbin Rise Landing is a go! Nearly there! Touchdown!
