KSP 2 Multiplayer Discussion Thread
Lewie replied to Johnster_Space_Program's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
I just had a great idea- Formation flying. I’m going to build f-18 super hornets and hopefully, with the new paint mechanic I can paint ‘em blue and gold. Me and some friends will do formation flying...cus why not?- 1,629 replies

Nate Simpson said the metallic hydrogen engine burns at a temperature of 6000 kelvin....Some kerbals will fond themselves standing behind it...FOR SCIENCE MY DUDES!

Huh...I’d thought Val would be racing dune buggies with Jeb across the surface of Vall... In all seriousness, i know it’s stupid but what’s ksp without the four vets? And we know that kerbals are *immortal* so there really isn’t any reason for them to be gone...heck. If the original four aren’t in the game...*grumble* I’ll march right up to star theories office, knock on their door, and make darn sure Jeb, Bill, Bob and Vall are in the game...

I just noticed this, but the thrust at sea level for the stock escape system is 666.6 m/s. Coincidence or not?

Can we please have info and gameplay, please
Lewie replied to SpaceFace545's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
Spaceface545, I totally agree with you. That gameplay footage did look pretty great, but it really didn’t look right in a way. I dunno. I’d be cool to see a rocket go to orbit and watch that. All i cam say is that there better be big, fluffy clouds in the stock game...pleasee -
I play on console, how should I show proof that I did this challenge? I've already done it, but to my knowledge there's no way that I can prove it.

Whenever I do one of the scenarios, I can’t figure out how to reset it and do it again. Does anyone know the answer to this problem? Cus once I exit the scenario it kicks me to the ksc and I can’t do anything. Does anybody know what to do about this?

I hope that if you create a falcon or falcon heavy, you can attach probe cores to the boosters. So while playing multiplayer, two of the players can control the boosters after they detach while the third controls the payload bearing rocket. This would be so helpful in saving funds in career mode. Also, I hope the breaking ground and making history(or history and parts for me) will be carried over to ksp2, or if you have already bought the dlcs, you get then pre installed in ksp 2. I really want to get the DLC’s, but after I buy ksp2 I’m not sure of how much I will be playing ksp(I still will, just not as much as I used to). I dunno, I’m just rambling.

Granted. But it falls down the mohole, and the kraken decides to attack. I wish for a fluffy, lovable little kitten

I think Kerbals already are adorable....I have gotten better at not killing them. Granted, but you try to write every digit down, and you lose your mind in the process. I wish for kerbals to run around on Earth
-
Granted. But some posts get disliked so much it causes sadness and depression amongst the moderaters. They quit their forum jobs, wondering why they had wasted so much time on the forum. The forum, moderator less, quickly falls into madness and chaos. The ksp community soon goes insane, and it reaches a point their families also go insane. They rise up in rebellion, thinking that earth is actually kerbin. They take over space x, and with the knowledge of orbital mechanics, they soon make orbital weapon platforms. Soon, the remaining world leaders cabe into the ksp communites wishes. Soon, people are treated like kerbals, so we volunteer random people to go into space. Of course, we think they are kerbals, so we don’t pack food or water. Soon, only the humans remaining are the ksp community. So we realize our mistakes and rebuild the world. Except, being us, we decide to send colonies to other celestial bodies. Thus, the world as we know it is essentially over. I wish for a rubber duckie
-
Granted. But it is so happy, everyone on Earth gets addicted to dancing to it. I wish for a nuclear reactor.

Yesterday I was on a Duna mission again. I managed to get an encounter with no problem, but the kraken decided to waste my hard work, and it made my solar panels go ka plooey. So after over an hour and a half of careful planning and flying, I decided to call it a night.
-
Granted. But Matt Lowne decided to fly it through a Mun arch, but for some reason it didn’t work. I wish for a pet chicken
-
Granted. But they are made of dog meat. I wish for a pile of nuggets

ah crud, reddit is not working. would it be ok if I just took pictures with my phone and sent them to you via email?

Are we allowed to clip passenger bays together? Not by a whole ton, just enough to smooth edges out, etc. and will there be a badge incorporated into this challenge? Also, I use a play station, how would you like me to prove that I did the challenge?

Star Trek, the original series. I'm a huge trekkie

Making Minmus more challenging
Lewie replied to desert's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Heck, I went to Duna on a skipper and a terrier. (I used the skipper to complete my orbit around kerbin, and I did about half of my orbital insertion burn to Duna with it then switching to the terrier. enough about Duna. Minmus, I have gone to twice now and was an incredible fun journey, being a wonderfully change from the more bleak mun. If it was harder, many new players would be discouraged -
I am star, working on life. Glad to see that there's lots of fellow Boy Scouts! always good to meet more of my compatriots.

Do you think we should attempt contact with aliens?
Lewie replied to caballerodiez's topic in The Lounge
this is true, but only part of the story. The reason why I choose this forum is because I saw this topic, and thought it would be appropriate to tell this part of my story here. I have virtually no social media presence outside of this forum. -
Do you think we should attempt contact with aliens?
Lewie replied to caballerodiez's topic in The Lounge
Umm why would I not tell the world? It’s confirming that aliens are real, they are sentient, and are incredibly advanced. And all three things I said relate to each other, because they all happened. There’s some parts of the story I am not allowed to tell, I was sworn to secrecy over certain matters. -
I would also like too add that I hope all of the intresting sites from ksp (Neil Armstrong memoiral, Vall henge, etc.) will be implemented into ksp2 with hopefully more sites to find. Also, I hope that the devs don't mess with the gravity of kerbin or any of the planets, or change up any of the atmospheres.

Do you think we should attempt contact with aliens?
Lewie replied to caballerodiez's topic in The Lounge
Right. But can you prove that I am not trustworthy? Look, what I’m saying is this-I saw aliens, I tried to talk to them, I’ve been the first to walk on another planet, and have confirmed that aliens are real. I would have taken pictures, but I didn’t bring a camera. You don’t have to believe me if you don’t want to, but in a few hundred years, I will be remembered by the aliens as the first human that visited them. So it may take years after both of us are long gone, but in the end I get the final word.
