true but what i mean by favorite feature is that what you already know by the KSP2 trailer as well as speculation and the gritty little details and hints the developers slowly inch to give us. not only does it pass the time and gather data speculating about it but it also makes things less boring and more KERBAL uhh i mean fun.

A new look at KSP 2 launch trailer
DerkyJerkyWreaksHavoc replied to Kerminator K-100's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
Intriguing findings about KSP2 trailer and (sorta) teasing (tryna' make it MORE fun). Well, here are all the things i thought was very odd and funny about the KSP2 trailer. its starts top to bottom going from beginning of the trailer to the end of it, respectively. Let me know if you got a good laugh or enjoyed it. its good to pass the time until the MIGHTY KSP2 COMES OUT!!! so here goes... 1. space station appears to undergo Atmospheric entry at the beginning of video?! 2. Light seems to be coming from atop of the station and then switches to in FRONT of the station. 3. Lander solar panels are extended when undocked from station but EXTENDS AGAIN shortly after touchdown. 4. Kerbal slips FOWARD when standing on ladder but rotates BACKWARD as he falls. 5. 1 meter tall Kerbal falls and K.O's 20,000 pound lander, toppling it in 1/6 gravity. 6. Kerbal survives. 7. Saturn V gets modified with 6 MOAR BOOSTERS (size 3?) 8. 3rd stage of Saturn V slams into ISS?! 9. (if you look VERY CLOSELY at the plane during the Duna base scene) you can see the plane REPEATEDLY BARREL ROLLS out of excitement while a Kerbal drives a rover over an edge and (in real life) practically broke the suspension of the vehicle in the progress. 10. Station orbiting Jool looks like a fuel depot but also looks like a LIVING STATION with kerbals inside. 11. Kerbals float 50 feet from a 40 foot anti-matter (or ionic) engine that spontaneously ignites. 12. Duna base "magically" falls apart 13. Anti-matter vessel leaks sparks but carelessly continues to fly. 14. Kerbals cannot keep fear under control and helplessly scream and flail. 15. when approaching Ovin's icy moon, you can tell that the vessel is traveling EXTREMELY FAST, easily traveling at over 150,000 MPH (if we compare Ovin's size to that of Saturn). 16. Kerbals are happy and dandy and lander leg "magically" breaks which in tur makes the lander tip and ultimately goes on a killing spree by tackling the habitation domes and causing them to ALSO collapse. 17. Kerbal's evacuate base (for some apparent reason) 18. Lithobraking near you in 2020 (release date is Fall 2021) 19. Build, Fly, Dream (wasn't that for KSP1) ??? I really hope you guys enjoyed this humor piece making fun of the KSP2 trailer. Although some might think its offensive, i really was trying to get a good laugh about the trailer while exercising my "close eye" at things about the KSP2 that seemed odd but funny. I am a very strong fan of KSP and cannot control my excitement for when KSP2 comes out. As always, GOD SPEED KSP2 and to the developers, i think you guys are doing a superb job! Keep up the good work!!! Sincerely, DAFATRONALDO2007 IN SPACE Thank you Developers!!! -

Actually @Mikenike i just meant that as a joke. Today is a beautiful Kerbal day (Realizes there are 4 Kerbal Days in one earth day)

KSP2 Hype Train Thread
DerkyJerkyWreaksHavoc replied to Whirligig Girl's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN PEOPLE!!! WE GOT "HYPING" TO DO (AT LEAST FOR KSP2) @SQUAD @KerballingSmasher @The Doodling Astronaut @Nate Simpson @Zimm And everybody else that i do not know their names... -
One of the reasons i dislike hydrolox in the game is because its gonna make it harder for us to create rockets with more energy per propellant since hydrolox is so low in density. i prefer Methalox and Kerosene for that matter but you are right that Hydrolox still has it uses and advantages.
-
EVERYONE!!!! I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE... TODAY ISSSSSSSS FRIIIDAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!! Ok now where is "show and tell"? I've been waiting on this one lol *Kerbals tremble in fear...
-
Actually i hope there is an option for "Liquid fuel" to be Liquid Methane or sub-cooled Liquid Kerosene instead of Hydrolox. Hydrolox isn't very dense and although it is more efficient, when you compare the Falcon 9 (a liquid fuel rocket) to some other similar sized Hydrolox rocket, you end up finding that 99.99% of the time, the Falcon 9 lifts more payload into LEO (or in a kerbal forum, LKO).

This is very similar to the chemical reaction in the sun's core... The intense heat produced by the anti-matter explosion would be shielded by intense magnetic waves (a technique excersized by the stellarator in germany)
-
I believe Fusion travel is possible with the combination of Heavy Hydrogen and helium atoms combining together in a massive explosion (which can be used as thrust). @prestja
-
I'll have you know that i sacrifice EVERY KERBAL EXCEPT THE ORIGINAL FOUR KERBALS FOR SCIENCE. at the end of the day, what's so good about success if there is no faliure or challenge leading to it? that is one of KSP'S Main challenges (PATIENCE IS KEY!!! XD) YOUR DAMN RIGHT THERE IS! I EVEN WONDER IF THEY WILL INCLUDE FUSION PROPULSION OR FUSION FACTORIES! SORRY FOR THE CAPS BY THE WAY!
-
Great Idea we should probably look into heavy Advertisement in summer or spring of 2021 (ASSUMING KSP2 does not get delayed any further). I was just putting that out there so the KSP Developers don't forget. Otherwise, it may not be able to attract any new buyers! Sincerely, DAFATRONALDO2007 IN SPACE "Spamming the Forums for all Kerbal-Kind"
-
Dear Developers of KSP2 You know, i wonder why Squad, Take-Two Interactive, and the KSP Team haven't made An advertisement with PS4, or XBOX (like the one's PS4 releases about Resident evil and Minecraft and games like that). Game developers (Hear me out) i think you should do an advertisement with PS4 and XBOX to advertise this game so average people can see how good this game really IS! Make sure you include the trailer to captivate people (The trailer almost made me tear up!) i really hope you look into this option as it will heavily increase demand for the game by captivating people's imagination to Build, Fly, and Dream. Sincerely, DAFATRONALDO2007 IN SPACE! @SQUAD @The Doodling Astronaut @Nate Simpson @KerballingSmasher @Zimm

Hopes and Wishes for KSP 2
DerkyJerkyWreaksHavoc replied to Elthy's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
Here are my wishes on KSP2 (A.K.A= features i think will drastically improve the game) -Fuel tank Venting features (A.K.A the cloud formation in real life sub-cooled fuel tanks) -I would've Added Story Mode but i believe that is for KSP3 (hint: developers should add story mode to KSP3) -Photonic sails (A.K.A sails pushed by light) - Supermassive black hole at center of gravitational influence of KSP galaxy. -interesting features of star systems (which CAN include Easter eggs or just Amazing features) -an ability to name a colony whatever you wish. - Clouds, Wind, Snow, Thunderstorms, and Hurricanes!!! - Make Rings physical object (meaning you can damage your ship by passing through them or hitting rocks in them) - Realistic engine exhausts (as well as shock diamonds and other cool features) - More Aerobrake parts - More landing legs (specifically LONGER landing legs or special types) - More solar panels (including spherical panels such as the ones on the Mars InSight Lander. - More ISRU parts, more ore tanks, and more drills. - and realistic engine revamps (like extremely realistic). For now, that is all but don't worry, I'LL COME BACK FOR MORE WISHES!!! Sincerely, DAFATRONALDO2007 IN SPACE "disappointing Kerbal scientists since 2007" -
To be Honest, i will express my opinion to the KSP team. i hope they aren't planning to make the leap (in technological terms) from shrimp sized ion engines to 40ft Anti-Matter combustion engines... Not that i wouldn't like they game if they did that but having Fat-sized Ion engines does look a little bit needed for gameplay (so the little ion probes don't dictate the ion propulsion section)... Anyways i think so far, THE KSP teams has done an amazing job! Time To Sacrifice Kerbals Once More, FOR SCIENCE!!!*Handle Science Responsibly. Sincerely, DAFATRONALDO IN SPACE (LOVE THE GREAT WORK!!!) @SQUAD @The Doodling Astronaut @Dr. Kerbal @Zimm @Matt Lowne @KerballingSmasher @Nate Simpson

HOLY CRAP! THAT'S AMAZING!!! LIKE THIS COMMENT IF YOU THINK KSP2 IS GONNA MOP THE FLOOR WITH OTHER SPACE GAMES XD!!! Applause To the developers who made it possible HUUURRRRAAAHHHHH!!!!!! Time To Sacrifice Kerbals Once More, For Science!!! @SQUAD @Matt Lowne @Zimm @The Doodling Astronaut @Nate Simpson

FROM ME TOO!!!! I LOVE MY JEBBIE, VAL, BOBBY, AND BILLIE!!! THEY ARE THE BEST KERBALS IN THE GAME (ESPECIALLY FOR TOP MISSIONS) AND IF THEY ARE DEAD WE SHALT HAVE PLENTY OF PROBLEMS!

No procedural wings = no buy. Simple.
DerkyJerkyWreaksHavoc replied to Vegatoxi's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
Damn guys... i know you want your Procedural wings badly but you dont gotta bash the developers that hard. they got a lot of stuff on their hands and im sure there is a mod on KSP that allows procedural wings ok? If you wanna save your 40$ or 60$ then go ahead but try to at least not discourage the developers. #PoorDevelopers #KSP_IS_STILL_AWESOME!!! -
Important: Hi its me DAFATRONALDO2007 IN SPACE. I decided to CREATE a poll on favorite features of KSP2. i am creating this Poll for free use and to collect data from Die-hard KSP Fans (like me) and create a graph to see the best feature of KSP2. And no im not involved in the creation of KSP2 although i DO have some Hookups Who do know about KSP2 development. Anyways, feel free to use the poll, it really helps both me , you, other fans, and the developers who moderate and review these forums. Sincerely- DAFATRONALDO2007 IN SPACE

Hopes and Wishes for KSP 2
DerkyJerkyWreaksHavoc replied to Elthy's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
With an Honest opinion, I am extremely confident that these new gameplay additions will be the game changer for KSP2 as opposed to the prequel KSP. i for one am EXTREMELY EXCITED for both Multiplayer and Interstellar travel. to the best of my knowledge, i believe the gravity point of all the solar systems will either be the center of a mini galaxy or a supermassive black hole or BOTH! Also the new U.I (User Interface) looks awesome but my only concern about it is that i hope there will be an option to have the navball in the center instead of to the left or right (mostly because im used to the navball being in the center down of the screen). Multiplayer is gonna be interesting too, However. I wonder how that is gonna work. Just imagine if one of the players gets fed up with another and just says "screw you", grabs the return vessel and just takes off, leaving the other kerbal stranded! Just thinking about it, I know its off topic for a topic about KSP2 BUT IF THERE IS EVER A KSP3 IT WOULD BE A MASSIVE GRAPHICS UPDATE PLUS A STORY MODE TO GIVE THE GAME A WHOLE NEW MEANING! However, the earliest KSP3 would come out (and this is an inference) is no sooner than 2026 or no sooner than 2028. THAT IS A LONG TIME FROM NOW! for now, however i'll just wear my spacesuit, waiting for the arrival of KSP2. Time to sacrifice Kerbals once more, FOR SCIENCE!!! -Sincerely, DAFATRONALDO2007 IN SPACE
