  1. sauron now rules over kerbol
  2. the fuel lines in ksp2 are BROKEN i tested several setups, and my main tank always ended up half-empty adding more fuel lines didnt fix the issue
  3. i dont really have the feeling that they are with us, they didnt even mention most of the obvious, game breaking bugs in the early access notes, they are just trying to sweep this under the carpet and get as many 50€ sales as possible before the bubble bursts... read my post here and think again carefully - are they with us or are they just trying to mitigate damage on sales?
  4. agreed, why cant we just have separate rotation and translation tools lol
  5. so i started a mission to establish an orbital base in a solar orbit, its packed with a nuclear engine and 100 tons of hydrogen fuel (setting this up took a whole day, several restarts, and reverts to older saves because saves would literally get corrupted and features like maneuver planner permanently break) so with this huge thing in a solar orbit i started burning retrograde to get my periapsis down to about 1 mil km, the burn was quite slow so i decided to speed up time, only to find out that it actually just wasted my entire 100 tons of hydrogen without even changing my trajectory though i was smart and made a save before doing this burn, so i loaded my save and tried again, this time without warp, here is the result: then, just to confirm that this is actually broken, i loaded my save again and repeated the same burn, this time again with a 100x time warp, here is the result: 0 fuel left and im nowhere close to the sun... for comparison, here is my trajectory before starting this burn: also, here is a screen of my glorious station
  6. at this point we should ask ourselves if its actually worth putting money into whats essentially just a buggy mess
  7. this is a personal attack against the whole ksp fanbase... so here is a list of bugs they officially admit: graphics quality fuel flow and dV are "undergoing optimizations" (they are completely broken) center of lift indicator arrow keys pan camera some ksp1 parts not available "issues with serialization" trip planner re-entry heating doesnt exist no collision on scatter framerate (big suprise) "some" UI elements can be "challenging" source: post from moderator now here is the list of gamebreaking bugs they are trying to sweep under the rug: save system completely broken - sometimes it just wont save your game parts misaligned after loading - rocket wont fly straight anymore maneuver nodes breaking permanently after launching a few vessels - not even restarting and reloading your save will fix this, you have to revert to an older save if you want working nodes fuel lines dont work - they leave you with a half-empty main tank after decoupling acceleration during timewarp doesnt work at all - it just doesnt lots of other bugs related to timewarp SAS is almost useless - to rotate heavy craft with lots of fuel you literally have to spam SAS modules everywhere and thats actually just the small list of bugs i found during a single mission to land on the sun... they are kinda obvious bugs that everyone will encounter when doing complex missions, i cant believe nobody has encountered them before putting out the EA release 'AND THEY DONT EVEN MENTION OR COMMENT THIS AT ALL well yeah, 40 devs, average salary is probably 3000 - 6000 € / month, take an average of 4000€ / month, multiply that by 5 years ... thats about 10 mil just for developer salaries - imagine how furious take two must be rn i mean they will have to pay these guys for like 2 more years at least until full release xD
  8. communication is obviously not their strength
  9. it is in fact NOT acceptable, the devs just want us to accept it so they can make money off us. in this EA release they basically confirmed all of our fears, they lied about slaying the kraken, bugs from ksp1 (some of which have actually already been fixed in ksp1) actually carry over to ksp2 which really makes me question the competence of everyone who works on this team...
  10. looks more like they are executing the incompetent kerbals from the engineering department there while im not playing or are this the remains of former squad employees who got butchered by take two? anyhow i hope the launchpad wont look like a slaughterhouse after next patch... in some instances the blood patch seems to be smaller
  11. why is the launch site stained with dried blood?
  12. How to remove debris? Selecting it in the tracking station and clicking the delete buttons obviously doesnt work, so is there actually any way to remove debris?
  13. yeah i had the same issue today, these guys cant even get the input and UI stuff right...
  14. stellar engine in ksp2 confirmed BIG KSP 2 NEWS
  15. i can only agree with everything you said, except the first point: the camera controls in VAB are much improved, just hold MMB to scroll up/down, or just click MMB on a part to focus view on it
  16. tried to get some satellite network up, found tons of bugs, some of which already existed in ksp1, like for example parts spawning at weird angles after loading a game. refunded the game on steam and left a bad review, found out ksp2 has no DRM, not even basic steam one.
  17. intercept handles time a little different: days = weeks weeks = months months = years
  18. just the usual bugs we have seen in ksp1 already, big suprise. thats not from ksp1 btw, its an actual ksp2 rocket
  19. this was literally why i stopped playing ksp1 - so much for "slaying the kraken" ...
  20. after saving and loading, my rocket is completely misaligned and cant fly straight anymore, i remember this happening in ksp1 already, so im wondering where the actual improvements are...
  21. about time lol, the unofficial ksp2 discord server is full of abusive moderators xD
