Part 4: Core launch and other stuff The floor here is made out of floor core section launches. Reaching orbit. Everything went to plan… Until I realised I couldn't transfer fuel because the R&D is still lvl 1. Now the core is just a fancy structural tube. Bill and Jeb respectively dock with the core in the new Flyer Vehicle. (note, bill does not have a docking picture.) Orbital Construction Time! After OCT, one docking port was moved to the fuel tank, and a battery attached to it. The launch fins were moved to Jeb’s Flyer to save weight. The flyer was detached and Two of the four structs taken by bill to the core were used. Solar panels were salvaged and batteries were moved to the core. Jeb’s flyer was returned to the surface. An overpowered supply mission was launched, testing if eva constructed fuel lines could transfer fuel. (note, battery removed) Core before impact Supply ship after impact at 50 m/s Turns out it can't, so tried using it as a missile to destroy one of the core’s fuel tanks. It barely damaged it. So I did the old trick, rocket surgery with a terrier from bill’s flyer. It worked! To be continued…
