    Current speed: 5 km/s, of which about three were gained with the ions. Ion stage still has 5/7 of its fuel. Orbit of Minmus not passed yet. Just passed the orbit of Minmus, speed is roughly 6 km/s

    Probe about halfways between Mun and Minmus, and I've just decoded some SSTV from Wikipedia with qsstv. I'm ready now. Kerbol Periapsis is now below Moho's orbit

    While I wait for the ions to be depleted, I'll try to learn how to use qsstv :) First ion stage has eaten 1/7 of its fuel.

    After that, the ions have been activated -- and they goble EC like crazy. Even the 8 RTGs on the ship can't sustain them. So I had to cut their throttle down Separation from LF+OX thug The ion stage is deployed!

    As above, plus (at least for Linux) there can be several drivers for the same GPU, some made by community and some made by the GPU's producer. The former is generally less powerful than the latter. If your GPU is old enough, its producers won't support it anymore, and thus you won't be able to get the proprietary driver, so you have to use the community's one, which is generally less powerful, so the system will behave like if the GPU was less powerful. It's annoying. From a true story with nvidia :(

    I decided to download every alpha (and beta) version while I was on Steam, and it took me two days tanks to school and the slow internet at home, but now I am ready to launch KSP 0.22! OK, it's getting late there, so that'll probably going to be for tomorrow... I have to fix file ownership issues.
