I'm not very confident on these ground anchors... They tend to unexpectedly destroy the ships.

Graphics Card Requirements/Limits for KSP2

Because it works pretty well, that would be wasting money. -

Unfortunately, in 79 Pompei and the Mosacookie are destroyed by the nearby volcano. I bake a new cookie. My cookie.

I recently passed my macunder Linux after 15 years. works better now, except graphic card driver problems -- not a big one, though. Anyway, if there's no Linux or Mac version at launch, and no source code to compile, I'll stay on KSP1. I think that every game should be able to download as a source code so we can compile it ourselves, so the devs don't need to worry about which systems they do binaries and which systems they don't, and so there won't be a time when the game will no longer be able to run on the latest computers.

Graphics Card Requirements/Limits for KSP2
Nazalassa replied to TruffleSpy's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
I don't want to know what KSP2 will look like with my 15-year-old computer. KSP has like x2 lag, don't want to know anything for KSP2. -
Better graphics -> less FPS Better physics -> less FPS KSP2 has both so less than less FPS so like 2 FPS or so. Why can't they do simple parts? You know, like these 12-sided cylinders from KSP 0.13.3 (version that I still enjoy)?

Oh, it will. No reasons a game developed like KSP would not get the same bugs as KSP. Oh, it will. No reasons a game developed like KSP would not get the same bugs as KSP. Then, do not switch to KSP2. These graphics are sure pretty good, but why doing something complicated when you can go simpler? I just love KSP because of its simplicity. To make it short --> KSP2 = Feature Creep! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feature_creep

9!! We have to go deeper! New page, for the third time. I'm probably the only one to stay awake at 3am to fight on the NW thread.

Basically KSP2 devs are doing Feature Creep -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feature_creep Can't they do something simple that works, instead of a big, complicated 314-Gigabytes thing with maybe bugs but at least lots of complicated things that are practically useless? That's like the graphics: why do they have to do huge meshes for their simple (cylindric) parts instead of simple, 12-sided cylinders? That's beyond me. For me, the goal of a video game is to be fun and simple, not to impress the players with huge and CPU-consuming complicated useless stuff.

You can be, I know I'm almost never clear in what I say Basically I added something that would prevent take-two, squad, etc. from stealing my ideas if they go to this thread. In fact it doesn't prevent them, but then if they do, KSP2 will get free and un-proprietary. You mean vessel jumping or wobbliness, or the like?

Besides, all that fancy over-detailed stuff of KSP2 surely looks good, but will literally melt my processor. Don't try to get the ore beautiful, the more attractive, the more realistic; try instead to have something that works and is nearly bug-free, which is not KSP and will probably not be KSP2. My ideas to fix all these bugs ould require rewriting all the game so they can't be applied directly to KSP or KSP2 without breaking everything. They are licensed under GNU GPL 3.0 licence if anyone wants to use them for their projects. 674-line-long GNU GPL 3.0 licence if anyone wants to read it: To be short, it means that you can use the stuff licenced but then you MUST licene your code with the same licence (GNU GPL 3.0). Every software licenced with GNU GPL 3.0 MUST be a free software, thus being free and open-source.

I won't play KSP2 because I prefer KSP, because I think it's useless to make KSP2 and not KSP 1.13 or even KSP 2.0. That's like me saying: Why buying a new computer to replace our 15-years-old one that works perfectly? (and I really said it) Besides, because KSP2 is developed on the same thing as KSP, I think there'll be more or less the same bugs in KSP2 than in KSP, so... Doesn't bring anything. If you really want improvements, then code a new game from scratch (or so it's said), making sure that the bugs of the old game won't show up, instead of copy-pasting everything and call it a new game. I have an idea to remove: "loading jumping", you know, when loading a vessel, it jumps. parts getting misaligned and vessels twisted, like this. wobbling when you get too far. etc. and ideas to add: a built-in, kOS-like scripting system. vessels can be loaded/unloaded with these scripts, and you can have two vessels loaded at the same time , at opposite corners of the Universe. multi-threading, I got seven threads: Main thread Physics engine 3D renderer Part thread Vessel thread Script thread File thread etc.

You can have breaks as you please. We Negatives have nothing to do with breaks. Twelve, by the way.
