  1. What are the odds that the KSP IP was acquired by some private equity firm looking to make a cheap buck?
  2. And so the first content update for Kerbal Space Program 2, For Science!, became the only content update. Granted whilst this did give people a somewhat more positive view of Kerbal Space Program 2, it was too little too late in the eyes of T2 as poor reception, lack of ROI and other factors resulted in the game all but ceasing development just 6 months later, leaving behind a unfinished waste of £45 that, considering T2 is still selling it and marketing it as "Early Access" unequivocally constitutes a scam. Whilst the player base and developers mourn what could have been, Take Two executives run away, sweeping it under the rug like they did before and pretending like it's everyone's fault but theirs. For Science in a way became fitting; Kerbal Space Program 2 is an experiment showcasing what happens when you have a company that has no idea how to develop a game of this type, legitimately does not care for players or developers and instead siphoning as much money as possible regardless of any PR backlash, especially when lying through their teeth and abhorrent management and meddling.
  3. May I please have my name changed to AstroEvada May I please have my name changed to AstroEvada
  4. Old and working KSP more like
  5. I feel like KSP 1.3.1 was the last of what you would call "old KSP"
  6. I think the people who should rightfully have any vitriol flung their way are the higher ups at Take-Two. They've wronged their employees, wronged the community and now they just get off what amounts to scot-free after scamming a lot of people for a product which had little chance of succeeding; you could tell right away that they were completely out of touch with the KSP community by how they think KSP would be a successor to Minecraft and that Kerbals were gonna be Minions 20, not to mention the absurdidity of being so tight-lipped about literally anything which only served to fuel the anger within the community. I can wager a billion dollars that T2 management think that it's not their fault, it's the consumers and employees fault.
  7. And so, the journey ended not with a huzzah, a bang or even a kraken attack; the journey ended before it even again as a result of corporate incompetence.
  8. Video game archival is fun :3 Also, the old MK3 had this old ksp-typa jank to them that prevents me from truly hating it.
  9. Eventually, one must realise that extreme optimism may give way into...to put it in the simplest terms, delusion.
