  1. Yeah. Imgur works pretty well for this.
  2. Yep! I circumnavigated Kerbin in KSP 2! It was a little boring, but it gave me time to look at all the new visual enhancements to Kerbin. Took about an hour.
  3. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 22621) (22621.ni_release.220506-1250) | CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics (12 CPUs), ~3.9GHz | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 | RAM: 16384MB RAM Frequency: High (Happens all the time.) Severity: Med (Resources transfer not working as expected) Description: Expected Behaviour: Ablator is untransferable, due to the nature of ablative heat shields. Explanation below: Observed Behaviour: Ablator can be transferred between heat shields. Steps to Replicate: 1. Build a craft with 2 or more heat shields. One should have less ablator. 2. Launch. 3. Open the “Resource Manager” app. 4. Try to transfer ablator, just like how fuel and other resources are transferred. The ablator should be transferred between the heat shields. No workaround to disable ablator transfer. All Evidence: https://i.imgur.com/Y5ISLMe.mp4 Included Attachments:
  4. I meant that the difficulty and science reward were way out of proportion, not because I’m only into building rockets for the science. But you’re still right. I’ll try to focus less on the science and just build rockets ‘cuz they’re fun (and to satisfy my ego)!
  5. Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 22621) (22621.ni_release.220506-1250) | CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics (12 CPUs), ~3.9GHz | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 | RAM: 16GB Frequency: High (Happens whenever starting the game up.) Severity: Low (Mostly just an inconvenience. Doesn’t affect gameplay.) Description: Expected Behaviour: After loading up a game save after starting the game up, the camera should show the KSC in front of the screen. This was the behaviour of the camera in previous versions of KSP 2 (and KSP 1). Observed Behaviour: The view is opposite the KSC after loading up a save. Additional Information: This seems to only happen once every game startup, because I first loaded up one save in one campaign, exited the campaign, and loaded up a save in another campaign. The bug occurred in the first campaign, but not in the other one. (Video evidence of this in “Video2”) This bug also occurs when loading saves of crafts, because I loaded up a save of a satellite in Keostationary orbit after starting the game up, and the camera was in a different angle than before. (Video evidence of this in “Video3”) Steps to Replicate: 1. Start up the game. 2. Load a save of a campaign. When loaded, the camera angle should be different than from making the save. Refer to video “OppositeCamera” for more instructions. All Evidence:
  6. Yeah, I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS MISSION!!! And the fact it's introduced BEFORE landing on Minmus AND with low-tech feels incredibly bonkers! And the reward is SO SMALL! Devs, please fix this!
  7. Woo-hoo! The first milestone of the game, in just 4 days! And that too a pretty huge one. Hype!
  8. Reported Version: v0.1.5 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 22621) | CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics (12 CPUs), ~3.9GHz | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 | RAM: 16GB RAM Frequency: High (Happens all the time with me after 0.1.5.0) Severity: Low (Workaround: Open any workspace again) Description: I was working on a workspace with multiple assemblies. I launched a plane with Bob Kerman piloting it, and I recovered it. After going to the KSC, I went into the VAB. I expected all my kerbonauts to be in the Kerbal Manager, but Valentina Kerman was missing! I loaded a random workspace, and she reappeared in the Kerbal Manager! Steps to Recreate: Bug: Load a workspace with multiple assemblies. Launch an assembly. Recover it. (Whenever you want) Click on the KSC button in the recovery page. Go to VAB. Check the Kerbal Manager. One or multiple kerbals should be missing. Workaround: Recreate the bug. Open any other workspace. Check the Kerbal Manager. The disappeared kerbal(s) should be back in the Kerbal Manager. Included Attachments: ValThinksSheIsHarryHoudini.mp4 Plane1.json .ipsImage { width: 900px !important; }
  9. Yes! I need this! I never used the survey scanner because of the complicated limits. I would like to see why an experiment didn’t work in a very friendly way.
  10. Mate, I 100% love this idea! The biggest provlem with VTOLs in KSP 1 was that you needed a DLC to make a good one. This solves it very nicely! Just one question: where did you get the pictures of the part? It already looks like a real part that’s already in KSP 2!
  11. Reported Version: v0.1.5 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 22621) | CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics (12 CPUs), ~3.9GHz | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 | RAM: 16GB Frequency: Med (Happened 3/3 times I tested it (Twice with Suborbital rockets and once with a plane.) Severity: Low (Workaround: Switch to Sea Level Altimeter Mode) Description: I was flying a suborbital rocket and landed the command pod in the ocean. I expected the altimeter (at ground level) to show 0 or negative values once I landed, because it would be at or below sea level. What happened was that the value was not 0 and lower, and a very large number. I think that was the altitude from seafloor, because switching the altimeter to Sea Level mode showed 0 and negative numbers. Steps to Recreate: · Land a craft in the ocean, but before landing, take note of the altitude and altimeter mode. · Take note of the altitude and altimeter mode after landing. The altitude should be positive after landing, even if the altimeter mode is the same. Video Evidence: WhyDoesValWannaKnowTheSeafloor.mp4 .ipsImage { width: 900px !important; }
  12. You still got to judge the match between Deddly and TwoCalories!
  13. Yeah! The kerbals seem pretty chill with each other (cough, will change in KSP2 Multiplayer, cough), so they could use less brain in competition!
  14. Hmmm... Maybe the long forehead could house something large inside? Maybe kerbals have a large brain? This would make sense, because kerbals have invented stuff that humans have had a very hard time with quite quickly, like 100% reliable rocket engines.
  15. Hi! I was doing a "deep-scan" of the For Science! announcement photos (link below), when I found THIS in one of them! (Circled in blue) Cadet Orientation? What is this supposed to mean? Can you share your thoughts on this? I don't know what this could be, and I would love to hear what everyone thinks! Thanks! TechieV
  16. Reported Version: v0.1.5 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 Home 64-bit | CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics (12 CPUs) | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 | RAM: 16GB Frequency: High (Every time I switch to KSC from an “In-flight” craft without thrust) Severity: Med (Tracking Station and switching not working as expected) Description: I was flying a craft without thrust in the atmosphere and switched to the KSC. I expected that going to the Tracking Station would track the flying craft. What really happened was that switching to the Tracking Station made the craft “disappear”. It didn’t show the craft in the Tracking Station panel, and I couldn’t switch to the craft to control it. Steps to Recreate: · Launch any craft that can fly. · Let it gain altitude and speed as not to crash while switching to the KSC. · Cut the throttle to 0%. · Switch to the KSC and then to the Tracking Station. The craft should have not been in the Tracking Station. It should have “disappeared”. Events in Attached Video: I flew a rocket and switched to the KSC and Tracking Station once it ran out of fuel. The Craft disappeared. Then, I switched to the VAB to check my kerbals. The Kerbal flying the rocket disappeared as well, proof that the rocket was not somehow recovered and actually disappeared.
