  1. Yes, it is unreasonable. You're not owed indefinite support. Breaking Ground released in 2019. The most recent version of Windows in 2019 was Windows 10. Windows 10 support ends later this year. Riddle me this, joker: why doesn't Microsoft still support Windows 95? Aren't the people who purchased it owed support for life? "When does the obligation end, then?" The so-called obligation, to host a free forum, never existed in the first place. You're displaying a seriously unwarranted and false sense of entitlement. Don't be mad at me, or the new owners. You should direct your anger at Nate for (almost) single-handedly destroying the franchise, IMO.
  2. I'd rather hear nothing than hear more BS from Nate and Dakota, as we did for years. The new owners of the IP don't owe us anything. Early Access doesn't confer a legally-binding liability to follow through on speculative future plans. Caveat emptor. EA purchases are made on an "as is" basis. Your decision to acquire an EA user license should be made on the current state of the game; not what you hope it might be in the future. Everyone who paid for KSP2 got exactly what they bargained for. Buyers were even granted a window to refund. The game is released. That's all, folks The new owners certainly don't owe us indefinite support for a free forum devoted to legacy titles -- titles that have little prospect for future growth.
  3. Along with most other statements in this forum, this aged well.
  4. Behaviour Interactive is a longtime contractor for the development of Star Citizen. lol. How appropriate. This all bodes well. lmao.
  5. lol never mind. i was just writing to the user registry like any competent coder would.
  6. Thanks for the signal boost on the Commnet. I appreciate the endorsement from someone who's been so positive about the project.
  7. I'm not grieving. I never bought the game, because I knew it would turn out this way. I just don't like incompetent liars who fail upwards.
  8. Take Two goons held a gun to Nate's head and compelled him to lie to the public about the state of the game. Poor Nate. He suffers and toils tirelessly like Sisyphus for our sake, and the thanks he gets is to be crucified by the corpos and haters. He tried for our sins. It was probably Take Two suits who forced Nate to push Planetary Annihilation into EA too, before Nate exited from that project. It isn't like Nate had a track record of doing this exact same thing before. Nope, gotta be the corpos behind it all.
  9. "think it's quite more pathetic to expect people to risk lawsuits and their means of existence due to video games communities of all things. Nobody needs to like it but you can'T expect people to behave even more self-destructing than they already have." I never said or implied anything of the kind. What I find pathetic is the community fawning over a self-serving fake apology, where Nate's primary goal appears to be eliciting sympathy from his credulous scam victims. If he wants to honor his NDA, the best way would be to just go away and keep quiet about this. I don't care what Nate has to say, because he's a liar. I never said or implied he should make any statements, because I'd prefer to never hear from him again. Separate point, but Nate should also forget about seeking future employment in the games industry. We don't need more of his EA rug pulls. He should probably pump and dump some penny stocks or meme coins. I think he'd do very well at that.
  10. This community is pathetic and deserves what it gets. The simpery is off the charts.
  11. Awesome. I'll make sure to buy the game and visit every celestial body to check them out for myself. j/k. I won't do that.
  12. I guess that explains why some people were spreading misspelled misinformation like wildfire on Reddit.
  13. Which devs are those? The ones who don't come to the forum and aren't employed by the KSP IP rights holder?
  14. It is a indeed a shame that more scam victims didn't trust the CM right up until the project imploded, without warning, destroying the franchise along with it.
