This update looks epic beyond words. So much to explore! But until the release, I'll have to settle with going to Kerbin's poles and pretend that I'm on another planet.
-
He's probably thinking about boosters and ludicrous speeds! I might have to redraw him, though. Just to get the proportions right, or more right.

What Features in .17 are you most exited for? (Poll)

Definitely new planets, but of course I'm excited for the moons as well. Shouldn't those belong to the same option? -
Large quantities of space debris equals experience!

Lavaeolus - Ultra Heavy Staged Spaceplane

It's a good thing, it means big and awesome! Not necessarily safe, but what ships are safe in KSP? -

Craft-level: Soviet. -
It's at least much better than my very first "landing"! Don't look at the mission timer.
-
Impossible, it will always be "soon to be released"!

A jettisoned service module on a re-entry trajectory turns out to be carrying a passenger.

Okay, I'm probably just being really picky as always, then. -

Thanks! Send me a screenshot if you manage to haul it to space. Yes! You can never have too much fuel. Never!

Allow me to introduce you to my version of Jebediah Kerman! Though I'm starting to think the head might be too small... Hmm...

Thanks! Yes, it looks adorable on Kerbals. And after some googling, I found out that they're called snoopy caps! -
I'm trying to get back to drawing after a long period of artistic inactivity, so here's a little sketch I drew of our common, green hero: Jebediah Kerman! I'm currently digitalizing it in PhotoShop and I'm almost but not quite done. What do you think of the sketch, though? Here's Jeb in a somewhat altered version of the Kerbals' characteristic, orange launch suits! I'm not very good at shading and lighting, so I'll just blame the different physics of the Kerbal universe!
-
I decided that I'd make my own little contribution to this glorious thread, so here's a rough sketch of one of our brave and green little astronauts! It's a work in progress, as I'm currently in the process of digitalizing it. Anyway, what do y'all think so far?
-
Not really. The original idea was to use the orbital construction mod to assemble it in space, but I didn't feel like actually doing it. Too much work for such an... overbuilt munship.

Teach me, master!

He's the most powerful man in the universe, and he has the power!

Stupidity Orbiter Mk2: Munar Express
Felsmak replied to kodemunkey's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I love your footnotes. -
Oh, I see. I don't usually pay attention to people's post counts, so I assumed you were talking to me since you didn't quote him.
-
What are you talking about? There are screenshots here. You're not familiar with spoilers, are you? Challenge accepted! Flying to the Mun with style requires sacrifice! Good thing I have Jeb on my side. Here you go! I've added it to the original post. Just remember that the staging order is untested. I didn't feel like doing that when actually assembling this thing in orbit will take quite a while.

The stupidity orbiter - It does not orbit planets, it orbits the massive stupidity of their inhabitants.
