  1. Hello Superman. Your post has been moved to this greeting subforum because it didn't really belong in that other thread. Anyway, welcome to the forum.
  2. Your thread has been moved to the Fanworks subforum, where the movie-makers hang around, and might be able to guide you.
  3. This question about how to play the game has been moved to Gameplay Questions.
  4. Your thread has been moved to Add-on Development, where the people who do this sort of thing hang around.
  5. The ports need to be mirror images of each other to work. If one is backwards, which seems to be what you are describing, they will not attach during flight. If assembled that way, the other parts are probably attaching improperly across the docking rings, making a solid connection that can't be undocked.
  6. I hope Supernovy means to keep the number of rules to a minimum, rather than not to enforce the rules we do have.
  7. Any cat's death diminishes me, because I am involved in catkind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.
  8. 1) I just threw it together, and wasn't sure if it would fly, let alone be efficient. 2) Nosecones are over-rated and not really necessary.
  9. So tonight I decided to throw together an Ike mission, since I had not been there in my career yet. Goofy rocket. Aerobraking. Sub-missions separate. Skycrane lands, transmits materials bay and 2 goo pods. Rover transmits grav, seismic, temp, and barometer readings, then sets out for new biomes. And the orbiter transmits mat bay, 2 goo pod, temp, and barometer readings*. Recovered: about 550 science. *Yes, barometer instead of gravioli. Why do they both have to be blue boxes?
  10. Launch mothership and load it with sub-missions. Distribute sub-missions. Bring mothership home to be re-fuelled and sent out again.
  11. I run 2 saves at a time (or more). One is a "real" career in which I don't use any shortcuts, and the other is a sandbox, which I consider to be the Kerbal's simulations. In the sim, it's useful to use Hyperedit to test a lander on another world without having to build and fly the delivery vehicle there first, or to replenish the fuel of an engine test, etc. Once I have a design tested sufficiently, I copy it to the "real" save for actual missions.
  12. This question about mods has been moved to the modding subforum. Good luck with it.
  13. I'm not having trouble viewing the pics. And nice ships, by the way.
  14. This thread is somewhat of a borderline case, guys. Remember that "adult content" such as the use of intoxicants is off-limits for our forum (2.2.c), and please restrict the discussion here to the physiology. This is Science Labs, after all.
  15. Worked that time. \o/ If using Imgur, click on the button to copy their "linked BBCode" link into your clipboard, then past it into your post.
  16. The plan is for the barn to be reworked and included in a future version of stock. Therefore, there is no need for a mod for this purpose. Let's not repeat the barn hate yet again, please? It was a year ago. Let it go.
  17. Hi astrokerb. To post pics, you will need to upload your screenshots to an image-hosting site, such as Imgur.com. Most of them offer free accounts. Then include the link they provide in your forum posts.
  18. A fair number of personal remarks have been edited or deleted entirely from this thread. The off-topic personal remarks, from all sides, need to stop, now.
  19. The discussion in this thread has turned personal. It's time to set it aside and move on to other subjects. Please keep in mind that people who disagree with you are not your enemies.
  20. Since you're asking for real-life info, the thread has been moved to Sci Labs.
