  5. Vas, I'm afraid you've misunderstood some things. The game seems incomplete because it IS incomplete, but development has nowhere near stopped. We get updates with bugfixes, new features, and new parts several times per year (but not on any kind of regular schedule). There are some items on the What Not to Suggest list which Squad has said they will never include in the game, but that's not why they were included on the list. Some things were included because they are already planned so there's no need to ask for them, some were added because they've been talked to death and it's time to move on to new discussion subjects, and a few were put on there because they cause nasty arguments every time they come up. The list is not Squad's yes/no list. It is the list of things we have found which tend to cause problems on the forum.

  13. Your masses docked to segment 5 do not appear to be symmetrical. If that rover-looking-assembly is on the side towards which the ship is deflecting, I think you've found your problem. It may have worked when the segments were assembled in a different order and it was closer to the COM and therefore was getting less of a boost from leverage. Also, check the amount of fuel in the tanks on those side-assemblies, as they may not be draining the way you expect them to, creating an imbalance. Interesting ship design, by the way. But in interplanetary travel, you'll find that fuel efficiency is much more important than thrust. I'd suggest replacing those big engines with LV-Ns. Or are they modded LV-Ns? Anyway, good luck.

You will need to post a few more times (to prove you are not a spambot) before your account status changes and you have permission to personalize your account with an avatar. Someome will probably come along in a moment and recommend a skybox mod for you, but that's not my area of expertise. One thing I might be able to help with, though, is Mun missions. I wrote an illustrated walkthrough which comes with a (sandbox) trainer ship you can download. You can find it here. I hope it helps. It is harder to land without parachutes, isn't it? But you'll get it with practice.

If you want to discuss the current course of the game's development, the proper spot for that is the Suggestions & Development sub-forum. And, as always, please stick to the topic and avoid evaluating each other's personalities.
  17. Well. This didn't get off to a very good start. Newbies are going to ask question most of us have seen before, and there's no harm in it. Can we be a bit more patient with them, please? Anyway, the current KSP aerodynamic system is... odd. Nosecones actually increase drag, but do so by less than most parts. So putting them on the front of a ship can help keep the nose pointed forward-with-respect-to-airflow, but do increase total drag. Right now, players mostly use them for aesthetic purposes.
  18. Since this thread is clearly about mods and not the stock game, it will not be innappropriately closed. It will, however, be appropriately moved to Add-on Affairs, where mod maters are discussed.
  19. The planets are scaled the way they are for the gameplay reason of keeping flights to a reasonable game timeframe, and Squad is against the idea of changing that. Also, the subject has been discussed endlessly, without result, to the point that it has been added to the list of subjects not to suggest on this forum, so this thread will be closed now.
  20. We don't know. We're not Squad employees. If you meant devs rather than mods, even they could only give you a preliminary list because things are occasionally moved up or postponed. So if, as we've seen, even what is planned for .24 is subject to revision, there really isn't an answer for the question of what will be in .25.

  22. It's not clear to me what is being suggested here. Competition or conflict? If conflict is what you're looking for, it is not going to happen in stock KSP. HarvesteR has been quite firm about that, and weaponry in KSP is on the list of things not to suggest.
