  1. Another excuse to post my favorite screenshot. I present to you, Vall.
  2. Hello MrArsenic. Congratulations on your rescue mission, and welcome to the forum.
  3. Tropicmoon Station has begun construction. The crew of Tropicmoon station try out the new M109 Asteroid EVA Scooter.
  4. Since it's not about KSP, moved to off-topic lounge.
  5. How are you missing? If you're arriving too soon or too late, save the game, launch to the target's orbital height and note the time that takes, then load your save and launch when the target is that far east of KSC. If you're missing north/south, is the target on an equatorial orbit? It very much depends on what the specific situation is. Can you give us more information?
  6. I use a two-step approach. First, a small ship goes out to meet the roid in interplanetary space and guides it to aerobraking passes until it's in an eccentric orbit. Then, my new big tug meets the roid and adjusts the orbit to something more useful. This tug, the M107 Shepherd, is the largest thing I've ever flown. It's 927 tons on the pad, which delivers the tug to orbit, nearly full of fuel, at 127 tons.
  7. Congratulations. (And moved to mission reports.)
  8. Hello Sandnor, and welcome to the forum. From what I understand, though, LV's problem is not so much corruption as desert heat. I try to avoid both, though.
  9. Thread closed by OP's request.

  11. You know you can set debris to zero and it all just goes away, right? It's a slider on the settings screen.
  12. Yes, unless you have an active ship within 2.25kms during the asteroid's whole descent through the atmosphere to landing, it will be automatically deleted. You won't find them just lying around the countryside.
  13. If the asteroid is already in Kerbin's SOI you may need a big rocket. However, I prefer to go out and meet them in interplanetary space, where even a small rocket can manage burns that will be magnified over time/distance to big changes in the roid's trajectory by the time it reaches Kerbin. With multiple aerobraking passes, this design has put two E class asteroids in Kerbin orbit.
  14. Hello Chaos_Evolved. What sort of trouble were you having with the transit? There are a couple of nice non-mod calculators that can tell you what sort of burn you need to get from place to place. http://alexmoon.github.io/ksp/ http://ksp.olex.biz/
  15. Merged into the existing thread for surprise ARM features.
  16. This report of a mission has been moved to mission reports. And please, guys, there's no need to be grouchy with each other.
  17. This proposed method of how to make a transfer moved to the how-to sub-forum.
  18. Moved to development discussion. Incidentally, I think it makes sense to deal with Kerbin, Mun, and Minmus first because *EVERY* flight and career starts there, so even advanced players spend more time there than anywhere else.
  19. Have you tried to move and steer an E class? They are PLENTY big.
  20. This discussion of how to play the game has been moved to the how-to discussion sub-forum.
  21. Merged into the existing music-while-playing thread.
  22. Could we see a picture of your ship? That often helps diagnose problems. (Also, moved to gameplay questions.)
  23. Please restrict the discussion to the subject of the thread, and not the originality of each other's comments.
