  1. I'll get my Duna return rover up tomorrow. For now, I'm tired and I going to bed.
  2. My abort sequence did more harm than good. At least they survived.
  3. This challenge is pretty similar to yours: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/25204-Kerbal-Grasshopper-%28VTVL%29
  4. Rodlin Kerman. Got hit in the head by a 100 ton rocket. The last thing he saw: What happened? I made him lie down on the ramp to watch a rocket launch, but as soon as I switched focus, the liquid engines shut down and the solids kept burning. The rocket ran out of fuel and crashed. On his head. Sentence fragments.
  5. You can use 24-77s as landing retro rockets.
  6. Here's my very efficient 40 ton lifter: I'll post the .carft file later, but it requires a very good gravity turn to get it to orbit.
  7. How many cannons and torpedoes does it have?
  8. I get less lag from 200 part rockets than 30 part rockets.
  9. That was kinda how mine looked like at first, but then I made it more compact and stabler.
  10. I have achieved a payload 16.19%! I used the 1.5 staging technique from my MPCV Lite and made a super efficient heavy lift launch vehicle. It also has retro engines to deorbit the core stage.
  11. I just perfected this 40 ton lifter today. It uses advanced engine staging (in which engines are jettisoned as the rocket gets lighter) and crossfeed between the boosters. It also has a deorbit motor for the core booster once it drops of the payload. Has a payload fraction of 16.19%!
  12. It's pretty useless IMO, and can distract the player sometimes.
  13. Smallest controllable rover. Go home guys. And the smallest working STS-style shuttle. I'll post the newer and improved version of the shuttle soon.
  14. What? new aerodynamic effects? Didn't we just get them?
  15. Merman Kerman had just witnessed a rocket failure... I thought they survived... Nope. The parts under and above the command pod are still intact though.
