I didn't even think 0.9 had save files. I don't remember them being in 0.13 when I started. Wow. Just downloaded 0.9 from the old versions thread. Not only does it not have save files, it doesn't even have time warp or a map!

I have every version I've ever installed in zip files (except the prereleases). I usually have the current release and the previous release in a ready-to-play state, and only one prerelease, but that one is not necessarily the latest version (nor used for playing).
-
I restart a new save every release. Sometimes between releases, if I add a new mod that substantially changes the game. Or because I'm bored. Or I haven't played in a while. Or because it's Tuesday.

The only difference between a missile and a rocket is where the guidance system sends it.

That's what I ask about the channels that just show people playing games. I guess it's because different people like different things?

Did you read the fine print?

I've been playing a lot of "Is This Check Worth This Much Stupid" and "Don't Screw Up The Next Generation (Too Much)" lately.

We've flown a half-dozen (or more, depending on how you count) manned SSTOs in real life. (Of course, it took a Saturn V to deliver each of them to their launch sites...)

I believe the pilot would describe it as "HOLY *****! Where did my other wing go?!? Mayday! Mayday!" I'd describe it as twice as long as it is wide. (And from dorsal to ventral would be thickness.)

Deep space propulsion using spring force and kinetic energy

Simply put, once you publish your idea, you can fund the testing of it yourself out of the money you get winning the Nobel Prize. Once you have a working demonstration, let us know. -
[1.3.0] Kerbal Engineer Redux 1.1.3.0 (2017-05-28)

Heh. I guess it says a lot that I don't know the difference between stock and KER. -

Indeed. I just tried without KER. -

Are you sure this is the mod causing it? (I have seen this, too. I just hadn't discovered what was causing it.) -
[1.4][1.7.7] GravityTurn continued - Automated Efficient Launches
razark replied to AndyMt's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
The exact same way you did. I carry a pocket knife. I have a multitool that I could carry instead. It even has a better blade than my knife. But I prefer to carry the knife because I don't need all the other tools 99% of the time. Carrying around a bunch of stuff I have no need of is pointless at best, and an annoyance most of the time. -
So it is. Never noticed. In that case, click the icon with the half-eaten fruit or flightless waterfowl that says "Prerelease 1.2".

Goto the store page. Login. Click "My Account". Select "Download". Scroll to the bottom of the list. (There's a series of icons. Below that, there's some plain text links. Those are the pre-releases.) Select the link you need.

[1.4][1.7.7] GravityTurn continued - Automated Efficient Launches
razark replied to AndyMt's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
So how do I install just the launch feature? In short, not having everything else is worth more to me than having a single feature. -
[1.4][1.7.7] GravityTurn continued - Automated Efficient Launches
razark replied to AndyMt's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Does MechJeb just handle launches? I don't want to do "Launch into LKO #69,105" manually, but I don't want all the overhead of MechJeb, either. This, plus automatic maneuver node execution, is all I want. -
Rocket Boys was the original title of the book later retitled after the movie October Sky. October Sky is also an anagram of Rocket Boys.
