  1. It's a screenshot of my post, showing the quote and my question, with linuxgurugamer's name underlined in red, with a red arrow also pointing at said name.
  2. Exactly this. I've also known modders who got so into modding, they couldn't play without looking for something else to fix, or add, or tweak, or knew the game inside and out so well that it lost interest as a game, and modding became the sole focus of it.
  3. I'm honestly curious. Between maintaining mods and answering questions on the forums, when is the last time you actually played KSP?
  4. The last time I used one in the vehicle, it was to use one of those adapter cassettes for my mp3 player.
  5. That doesn't mean it isn't possible. Just that it's going to annoy at least one of the players. KSP multiplayer just doesn't make much sense unless everyone is doing pretty much the same thing at the same time.
  6. I actually still have the tapes, too. I don't know when the last time I actually saw a cassette player, though.
  7. I wouldn't trust non-official sources. Check Squad's own information first:
  8. So Player 1 timewarps to the future. In Player 1's past, Player 2 docks with Player 1's ship. How does that affect whatever Player 1 has done in the time between the docking and the current time in Player 1's timeline? Their vessel has become more massive than it was before, so how do you account for any maneuvers they have done? Or Player 2 rams into Player1's ship. Say it knocks off the solar panels. How does that affect Player 1? What if Player 3 docks with Player 1's ship before Player 2 tries to dock at the same docking port? The way you describe it, Player 2 can dock before Player 3, even though Player 3 is already docked, but the game hasn't resolved all the timelines yet. It leads to paradox.
  9. But do you know where it is now?
  10. I object to this. I am going to be on a business trip the week before the release. Since I'm going to be stuck in a hotel all night for a week with not much else to do, I'd be very appreciative if y'all would reconsider this ill-timed plan, and release it a week (or two) earlier. I'm sure that you can see the wisdom of this suggestion, and will shortly come around to a more sensible release date.
  11. I think they should add multiplayer, but only for people not on Steam.
  12. First, a car in space. Now, Squad actually announces a release date in advance! Has the world gone crazy? Oh, that explains it.
  13. Twelve people. In a single room. Talking to each other. Nothing else. They don't even have names. Damn good movie.
  14. There's the paradox part. (Of course, I fall into the "vehemently opposed" camp on this version. )
  15. There's quite a few ways to implement timewarp in multiplayer KSP. They all either involve either paradox or someone waiting, and each has its supporters. Each one has people vehemently opposed to it, as well. Any way it's done in KSP is going to lead to a decent number of unhappy people.
  16. Hey, Cernan and Schmitt even did vehicle repairs on theirs. Let's see Musk get out there and build a fender!
  17. Congrats to Elon Musk for putting the fourth electric car into space.
  18. It's not a question of "easy". It's a question of "finding someone crazy enough to spend the money to do it."
  19. Yeah. One of my coworkers here remarked that he was kind of sad it wasn't NASA. Hrm... Is SpaceX hiring in the IT department?
  20. Don't worry. I think he knows the guy that makes them.
