  1. @rbray89 thoughts? I can't think of anything else it could be. Logs are in the second quote
  2. @peachoftree @rbray89 yeah that's SVE. It's the current setup of the configs. I'll have an update for that sometime soon that'll fix the overexposure issue. This is why I first asked you if you changed something in how bright the cloud layers were rbray But I've fixed them, just haven't been able to finish it up for a release. It should work with the EnviromentalVisualEnhancements folder that I have included in my download. I really don't know what's going on with your game
  3. Go into the SmokeScreen folder, open the settings file (or something similarly named) and change the max particle count to be a lower number.
  4. I don't even know if you can change those in the first place
  5. ..... what in the world.... @rbray89 do you have any clue what is causing this??
  6. Ok, the only thing I could think it is then is the pre-release version you're using. Make a backup of it and try using the latest one they released today. I haven't seen anyone report this bug here or on the EVE thread so I'm really at a loss
  7. Ahh you're on a Mac. Nevermind. Errm, try downloading this file. Delete the EVE folder that is in your GameData now and extract the one in the file you downloaded and test it for me. Huh?
  8. Could you send me your output_log.txt file in the KSP Data x64 folder
  9. Are you using the pre-release version they released today?
  10. Can you post your logs for me. That's very... strange.
  11. O.o wut. You are using 0.5.8 yes? You used the EVE that was included in the download?
  12. Alright, let me see a screenshot of it then. I'm a little confused.
  13. Do you have a boulderco folder in your gamedata? Yes, this should be fixed with cubemaps which will be released soon™
  14. Noo please, continue to help haha. I could be wrong, who knows, not me, it's been too long of a day, where's my bed.
  15. Actually the dark planet bug was fixed by rbray earlier today. That mega link blackrack posted yesterday was a dud since he accidentally used the wrong EVE version (if I'm recalling my information correctly).
  16. No problem. Seeing everyone's screenshots is one of my favorite things about doing this. I do love the way the clouds look!
  17. Yeah, hopefully rbray re-adds the aurora functionality that we had in the old EVE. It'll probably end up making it look 10x better than it does now. Right now all the aurora is, is just another cloud layer with the alpha value set to 2-3x higher than normal. No, there is no way to reduce them without redoing the entirety of the texture (which takes a long time). I do plan on redoing this eventually but that'll be further down the road as it is very time consuming.
  18. Yep. KSP-AVC support will be added in the release version.
  19. Not trying and actually being rude are two different things. You were being completely rude to people who were just trying to help you out and accidentally glanced over something. I didn't even see it the first time I read that. Additionally, most of the things you were posting doesn't matter at all in trying to troubleshoot your issue. Logs were never posted even after people asked multiple times for them. Please in the future if you run into problems with any mod, don't be spiteful towards people who are just trying to help. I'm glad you got it working but if you need additional help in the future with SVE, post logs, be nice, and be patient. P.S. Thank you to everyone who was offering help since I was not available
  20. Still happening for me Eve and Kerbin are pitch black and Jool and Duna are suffering from the offset scatterer layer KSP.log output_log.txt
