  3. Just download KSPRC and use the textures that are in the Texture Replacer folder and you'll get the new planet textures
  4. Do you have CKAN? Can you show me a picture of what is showing up on it?
  5. It doesn't have to be .png no, however I noticed with this particular texture that when it was in DDS the file size was 1-2MB while when I had it in PNG it was something like 127kB. The thing that really matters here is the scaling.

  7. @Space Cat Ok so.. I'm just gonna suggest to you, do NOT install SVE through CKAN. I'm almost 100% positive that the version on that is super super super super old (I don't use CKAN so I can't check) and it's going to break anything and everything. First and foremost, go in and delete everything that related to SVE (the SVE folder, EVE, Scatterer, Kopernicus) and go into github and grab the latest version. Extract that to your Gamedata. If you want Scatterer, grab that too just don't install Kopernicus because you don't need it anymore. If you're crashing, check that you are launching through the 64-bit binary as Steam is currently experiencing issues if you launch directly through it by only launching the 32-bit client even if you choose otherwise.
  8. I could be wrong but it looks like you're running out of memory. If you're launching directly through steam I believe the issue is still there where KSP will launch in 32-bit no matter which option you choose. Just go into the install directory and launch the 64-bit binary I actually haven't tried using the RGB layers to create my clouds, I just left them all on the AlphaMap (I think that's what it is) layer and it works fine
  9. The terminator is the transition from daytime to nighttime. Kopernicus is not needed. And the cities that were under the clouds ARE still there..... I can see nighttime cities and daytime cities in your screenshots
  10. The daytime texture was changed in the latest version as I didn't like what it was before but they are still there as I can see them in your screenshot. Also, the clouds look like they're suppose to, they just look strange since you're in the terminator

  12. Might be a long shot but have you tried poking squad about the camera and root part issue? Considering the bug tracker is being looked at adamantly given the 1.1 release, I wonder if they'd be able to look into it? Maybe possibly who knows?

  15. You can do a lower res version of SVE or try using the default EVE configs

  18. I'm a little confused as to what you're saying, the auroras are actually less static in 0.6.x than they have been in any previous version of SVE
  19. I had to do this for SVE but I believe it's actually the changes made to KSP, not Scatterer. I was discussing the brightness issue with rbray and he was saying it was possibly the changes to U5 that Squad had to make.

  24. I haven't even tried doing the terrain textures since he moved out of the Overhaul branch. I was gonna poke it later on down the line :/ Maybe try poking Proot? I know he has terrain textures in his KSPRC pack, I just can't remember if he uses them through EVE or Kopernicus I like I like. What about making the S, V, and E red like my signature thingy though
