  1. That's the hypeFreight train. It is too slow for the Hype journey.
  2. I have noticed that there is no config for the Mk2 cockpits. This makes me sad.
  3. Brotoro, have you done an Asteroid Redirect Mission yet? How about "Acquiring an Asteroid" or something?
  4. Why? The United Kerbin Space Probe Agency uses Launch Escape Systems!
  5. There is an edit button on your own posts. - - - Updated - - - The way fairings work is that you click and the fairings are created at the mouse click areas, and you click around to enclose the thing.
  6. "IT'S GOING TO SPACE! GIVE IT A SECOND. LET IT GET BACK. FROM SPACE." Louis C.K. is one of the best comedians. His view of the miracle of human flight just makes the Space Station even cooler.
  7. I wish I had a good picture of the HypeTrain 07A in superflight on her way to 1.0! How about a little contest? If someone can create a picture of a green-colored Gresley A1/A3 locomotive from the LNER (Such as the Flying Scotsman) with markings on the side consistent with the one in the OP of this thread, but make it look like it is going fast, that will be the official HypeTrain picture!
  8. Aww now look what you've done. You've made all the Kerbdergardeners cry.
  9. I will admit, I really like the look of those fairings separating into bits. I do however very much hope it will be possible to fix this behaviour. If we hate it enough Squad might decided to make them separate together. I think the problem here is that the each bit of a fiaring is its own part, unlike Procedural Fairings where each part is a whole part.
  10. I think that clipped wings ARE realistic. IRL there's no reason you can't make a bigger wing shape! Sure in KSP It woud be a wing shape that is slightly more dense in some sections, but I certainly don't think it is unrealistic and I suspect it will work fine in the aerodynamics model. - - - Updated - - - Looks like some pointless tease, but my MONITOR-O-MATIC Steamcharged Monitor Screen is displaying some countdown, but it's so blurrer I can't see the numbers. I think it might be the ANSAR (Ansible-RADAR) tracking of the station. I should really get around to cleaning the screen. We'll know soon enough!
  11. Only if you don't account for the center of mass of the Joolean moons. If you do that, then the laplace resonance of the moons is stable and Vall doesn't fly out to infinity.
  12. Well, they can't talk about it until the media embargo is lifted. They usually release videos before the release. - - - Updated - - - I am inclined to agree with you to some extent, however I do enjoy a well placed Kerb or Kerm.
  13. We do this every update since 0.22, 1.0 is special, and if you think it is dumb, then just don't go in this thread.
  14. Please add this to OP, Kenbob. - - - Updated - - - They are just Mk55 Radial Engines.
  15. We're very close. Passing by the Probodobodyne station on the way. We're stopping for a few minutes just to load some freight cars of the old Hydrazine+N204 Toroidal Tanks while stocks last. Hopefully the KSC officials won't insist we load them with xenon gas. If we are very lucky, we'll see a load of silver-colored toroidal tanks full of xenon, and also our familiar golden fuel tanks in the goods siding.
  16. Great Scott Manley! I know this is Massive.
  17. The caboose looks kind of like that, except red and with the jets replaced with boosters.
  18. Turning the regulator up, engaging Caboose-Rocket-Boosters.
  19. Turning the regulator up, engaging Caboose-Rocket-Boosters.
  20. I think a series like this might work much better as a Danny2462 style video with upbeat, silly, funny music, and text instead of voiceover.
  21. YOu know what? I've changed my mind that the round9 should be changed. New reskin for Round8 as a second part is all that is needed.
  22. Space starts at the Karman boundary, an area (where there is atmosphere!) that in order to get aerodynamic lift, you need to travel at the velocity for a circular orbit. It's about 100 km.
